Overview
Edith is one of the unique heroes in mlbb. It's the only one with the role of a marksman and a tank.
Strengths
Given that this hero has a marksman and tank role, it is expected that it has a range and dps of a marksman and crowd control and sustainability of a tank. Edith fits well on this standard. She can be an initiator on her base form with her cc and she can be a damage dealer when she is in ultimate skill form. It is also worth mentioning that her passive deals hp based damage and it can deal multiple times at once based on her attack speed.
Weaknesses
Like most of the heroes, its weaknesses are crowd control, heroes that can out sustain her and burst. Edith also having a hard time on a match up with high mobility enemy heroes.
DPS and Sustain
dominance ice gives hybrid defense up to 80 which is great early game item than thunderbelt. feather of heaven gives attack speed, lifesteal, and attack effect that benefits from conversion of defense to magic attack. the rest are optional and depends on the enemy composition
True damage
Starlium scythe can deal 1k+ true damage on ultimate form in late game. this was the meta build for her back then and it can still be viable.
Sustain and Damage
i chose fighter emblem for sustainability, damage, and hybrid defense. Edith's skillset can benefit well from from its attributes specially with hybrid lifesteal. Firmness for added defense and also added damage for ultimate form. Weakness finder is an underrated emblem talent for Edith because it is really effective for her especially when in ultimate form it can provide additional magic attack. War cry for extra damage.
Battle Spell
Flicker suits this hero because it allows many plays like creating combo with skill 1 and 2 for initiating while in her base form, and added mobility while in ultimate form.
Early game
It can hold its lane pretty well on early game. its skills can cancel enemy skills just make sure it lands. also great clearing speed.
mid to late game
Edith needs to rotate with the team most of the time because her skill is crucial for making plays like initiating, controlling enemies. When in ultimate form, she is kind of vulnerable so keep in mind your positioning.
Best With Diggie
one of the main weakness of edith is crowd control. Diggie can help eliminate that weakness during clash with its ultimate.²
Watch Out For Thamuz
Thamuz can overwhelm with damage and sustain Edith's attack. this is only in 1v1 but in clash, Edith base form skills can stun lock thamuz for a while and give opportunities to teammates to deal damage to him.
