Xavier Pros and Cons

ザ***^ザ***^· 2 views· 2 votes

Overview

Xavier is a long-range mage who excels at dealing continuous magic damage and controlling team fights from a safe distance. He uses skills to poke enemies, clear waves fast, and support allies during clashes. Xavier is best played in the mid lane, where he can rotate and help other lanes using his global ultimate. His damage becomes stronger as fights last longer.

Strengths

- Very long skill range, allowing safe poke and zoning - Strong magic damage in mid to late game - Global ultimate that can help finish enemies anywhere on the map - Good wave clear and team fight presence - Useful crowd control when skills are combined properly

Weaknesses

- Very weak mobility, easy target for assassins - Squishy and relies heavily on positioning - Needs good timing and accuracy with skills - Early game ultimate damage is not very strong - Punished easily when caught alone

CD and Damage

Cooldown reduction lets Xavier use his skills more often, allowing constant poke, wave clear, and control in team fights. Magic damage items increase the power of each skill, making his long-range attacks hurt more as fights go on. Together, this build helps Xavier pressure enemies safely and stay useful throughout the game.

Damage and mobility

The Mage Emblem helps Xavier deal stronger magic damage while solving his mana problems. Impure Rage allows him to poke enemies more often in lane and during team fights, making him more effective in the mid to late game.

Battle Spell

Xavier is a mage with high damage but very low mobility, which is why Flicker is considered his best battle spell. (sprint works good too)

Mid-late

Stay at the back and always keep your distance. Use your skills to poke and clear waves safely, then help other lanes with your ultimate. Never overextend—proper positioning and timing are the key to playing Xavier right.

Best With Tigreal

Tigreal can gather and control enemies with his crowd control, making it easy for Xavier to hit multiple targets with his skills and ultimate safely from the back line.

Watch Out For Lancelot

Lancelot can easily dash into Xavier and burst him down. Since Xavier has low mobility and is very squishy, he struggles against fast assassins like Lancelot.
