Overview
## Skill Overview ### Passive: Warmonger Argus possesses a Malice Energy bar that charges up as he deals or takes damage. When the bar is full, his next basic attack strikes twice, dealing extra damage and healing him. Pro Tip: This is why Attack Speed items are non-negotiable for him. ### Skill 1: Demonic Grip Argus launches a demonic hand in a target direction. If it hits an enemy or a wall, he pulls himself toward them and can cast the skill again to dash a second time. Usage: This is your primary gap closer and escape tool. ### Skill 2: Meteoric Sword Argus stabs forward with his sword. Enemies hit take damage and are "cursed" for several seconds. Cursed enemies leave a dark trail behind them; when Argus walks on this trail, he gains a significant Movement Speed boost. Usage: Use this to stick to enemies who try to flicker or run away. ### Ultimate: Eternal Evil This is his signature move. Argus transforms into a fallen angel, removing all debuffs and becoming immune to death for 4 seconds (at max level). The Kicker: 100% of the damage dealt to enemies during this state is converted into HP for Argus once the duration ends.
Strengths
Argus is a Late-Game Hyper-Carry whose main strength is being "literally immortal" for a window of time
Weaknesses
Despite being "immortal," Argus has some major flaws that smart players exploit: Crowd Control (CC) is His Nightmare: If he gets stunned, suppressed (Kaja/Franco), or frozen (Aurora) right when he pops his Ultimate, he can't hit anyone. Since he heals by dealing damage during his Ult, stunning him = no healing Kiting & Mobility: Once his Ultimate is active, enemies usually just run away. If he can't reach you with his Skill 1 (Demonic Grip), he wastes his 4-5 seconds of immortality swinging at the air. Weak Early Game: Before he gets 2 or 3 core items (like Great Dragon Spear or Corrosion Scythe), his damage is actually pretty low. He is very easy to bully in the laning phase Item Counters: * Dominance Ice: Reduces his insane attack speed and healing. Wind of Nature (WON): Marksmen can pop this to become immune to his physical damage for 2 seconds, wasting half of his Ultimate duration
Late Game Monster
This the Best Build Because It can Delete Enemies in Late Game Like the crit is so high it damages 2k+ each
Best emblem for Argus
I chose this set to maximize raw damage and critical strikes. Fatal increases my Crit Chance and Damage, while Weapon Master scales my physical attack from items by 5%. War Cry provides a significant damage boost after consecutive hits, making this the perfect setup for shredding tanks and high-HP targets in the late game.
Penetration can delete enemies
You can delete enemies in late game
Battle Spell
I've got the breakdown for you. While many Argus players reflexively pick Inspire for the raw damage, Purify is often the "secret weapon" for high-ranking players who want to ensure they actually get to use their strength.
Tips
1. Early Game (Laning Phase) Phase Name: Early Game / Laning Tips: Focus on clearing minions and reaching Level 4 as fast as possible. If you're a Jungler, prioritize your buffs. If you're in a lane, poke the enemy but stay near your turret to avoid ganks 2. Mid Game (Roaming & Objectives) Phase Name: Mid Game / Ganking Tips: Start rotating to other lanes to help your teammates. Secure the Turtle whenever it spawns. This is the time to finish your core items and start forcing small skirmishes. 3. Late Game (Team Fights & Lord) Phase Name: Late Game / Final Push Tips: Stick with your team—getting caught alone now usually means a loss. Focus on the enemy's main damage dealer (Marksman/Mage) in team fights. Group up to take the Lord and push for the win.
Best With Johnson
Johnson and Argus can create a High-Impact "Global Dive" Combo. Johnson's Ultimate can transport Argus Directly to the enemy Backliner such as Mages and Marksmans, Bypassing the frontliners entirely. Once Johnson crashes into an enemy, his 9/10 Control Effects stun them long enough for Argus to activate his ultimate and secure multiple kills before the enemy can react.
Watch Out For Franco
Franco Can Suppress Argus Ultimate then wasting Argus's ultimate
