Overview
Freya is a fighter-type hero with outstanding burst and sustain potential. After her latest revamp, she excels as a jungle or side-lane duelist with high attack speed and great snowball potential. Her passive, Power of Einherjar, grants stacks after each skill cast, enhancing her basic attacks and turning her into a powerful finisher in early and mid-game fights. In the jungle, Freya clears camps quickly and can invade or gank efficiently thanks to her gap-closing ability. Once she activates her ultimate, Valkyrie Descent, she gains a massive power spike with AoE damage and shield — allowing her to dominate skirmishes and secure objectives like the Turtle or Lord.
Strengths
Strong Early Pressure: Freya's early game is extremely potent. With her fast jungle clear and enhanced basic attacks, she can easily snowball after the first few minutes. Excellent Duelist: She shines in 1v1 or small skirmishes due to her high burst and sustain combo. Powerful Engage and Chase: Freya can dive onto squishy enemies using her leap, stun them, and quickly finish the job before they can react. Flexible Build Paths: She can go full damage or hybrid bruiser depending on the team composition. High Objective Control: Her sustained damage and shields make her reliable for taking Turtles, Lords, and towers efficiently.
Weaknesses
Vulnerable to Crowd Control: Freya struggles heavily against stun or suppression effects that interrupt her combo. Falls Off Late Game: If she fails to snowball early, late-game mages and marksmen can outscale her damage. Needs Proper Timing: Engaging without her passive stacks or ultimate can lead to failed initiations and quick death. Short Range: As a melee fighter, Freya can be kited easily by ranged heroes with slows or dashes.

Tips
Prioritize stacking Freya's passive (Power of Einherjar) by using basic attacks between skills. Keeping stacks full enables her burst. For skill order: Max her second skill (Spirit Combo) first, then her ultimate, then her first skill. This gives best damage and stack usage. Use her ultimate (Valkyrie Descent) smartly: it grants ranged basic attacks and splash, which means you can fight from safer distance briefly. Target isolated enemies or a weak back-line; avoid diving into full enemy team without support. Build attack speed + physical attack items early, then transition into some survivability if needed (since you will be in the front). Be aware of when to engage: avoid full team fight initiation if your stacks aren't prepped or your ultimate is down.
