Overview
Bane is a unique fighter hero because you can build him as a pure fighter and a magic damage too.
Strengths
Most of Bane's skill deals magic damage specially his 2nd skill so it's really necessary to build magic items for him. Bane is also a late game hero.
Weaknesses
His weakness is in early game he needs to focus on buying his first item so he can easily burst down enemy. If that didn't work in the early game you might struggle if the enemy wants to end the game early.
Bane Magic Build
First Item for me is Holy Crystal because once you build it early game you can get bonus magic damage every levels so building it early game can give you bonuses. You can choose to build Sky Peircer or Blood Wings as your second item it depends in your playstyle. For the rest of the build just follow these. If you want your last items for defense you can do that too.
Bane Magic Build
Bane skills cooldown in early game is slow so I usually pick Inspire so he's skill cooldowns will be shorter. Bargain Hunter so he can get a discount in items so he can build items faster. Impure Rage because for his Magic Damage.
Battle Spell
Bane is an early game dependent hero based on what I experience because he needs to have items fast so I recommend using him as a Jungler or Gold Lane if you prefer. Retribution because it's for Junglers. In using Retribution use Ice Retribution so he can chase down enemies.
Early Game
In early game focus on building your first item once you already build that you can now easily solo squishy heroes.
Mid Game
In mid game try to not engage, Make your tank or fighter engage first and you follow. Poke the enemy with your second skill because it now deals high magic damage.
