CDR build w/burst and bonus MS
This is what I consider a proper itemization for clint to maintain lane sustainability. Good CDR for poking by spamming skills and bonus kiting ability by more MS bonus. I built sky piercer as 2nd not only for its damage/finisher ability but because of its bonus Movement Speed. It blends well with the assassin Emblem so we can kite easily. Malefic gun for range, it's really effective with clint's skills! You can see it for yourself! The rest items are situational. Build BOD or/and Immo item. This flow of itemization works for him!
Assassin Emblem
Assassin Emblem for bonus Movement speed and Inspire talent for bonus CDR and mana regen to make skill spamming. The rest are damage talents.
Battle Spell
Aegis spell for countering bursts heroes to maintain laning sustainability. Flicker spell if you're in a 5-man team.
Early Game to mid
At the early stage of the game. Keep poking your enemy in your lane. Aim for making them recall and miss some minions. In this way you gain the upperhand when it comes to economy.
Late game
It's simple, don't die and keep kiting. It all comes to better positioning.
