Ruby is one of the most underrated sustain fighters in MLBB. She excels in chain CC, life-stealing durability, and disrupting team fights.
Strengths
Ruby excels in sustain and crowd control, allowing her to lock down enemies and survive long fights. Her lifesteal and dashes make her hard to kill and great at countering melee heroes.
Weaknesses
Ruby relies heavily on her skills for damage and sustain, making her weak when crowd controlled or silenced. She has low burst damage, so she struggles against high-mobility or ranged heroes who can kite her from a distance. Anti-heal items like Sea Halberd, Necklace of Durance, or Dominance Ice can drastically reduce her survivability. Additionally, she needs proper timing and positioning to land her combos effectively鈥攎issing her ultimate or Skill 2 can leave her vulnerable during fights.

Flicker is the best spell for Ruby because it allows her to perform surprise engages or escape dangerous situations. You can combine Flicker with her Ultimate to pull enemies unexpectedly and start a strong team fight.
Tips/tricks
In the early game, focus on farming safely in the EXP lane and use Skill 1 to poke enemies while healing with lifesteal. After reaching level 4, look for opportunities to help mid or join team fights with your Ultimate. In mid and late game, always stay near your allies and use your skills to control enemies. Try to chain your Skill 2 and Ultimate for strong crowd control, and use Flicker + Ultimate for surprise engages. Avoid overextending alone, and remember that positioning is the key to survive and win fights.
