Overview
Role: Fighter Specialty: Burst / Crowd Control Lane: EXP Lane (Primary), Jungle (Secondary) Core Mechanic: Rage System (Passive) Dyrroth's two active skills, S1 (Burst Strike) and S2 (Spectre Step), are enhanced when his Rage bar is full, significantly increasing their damage, effect range, and slow. Unique Power: Physical Defense Shred His S2, Fatal Strike (second phase), reduces a target's Physical Defense by a massive percentage (up to 75%), making him an exceptional tank/fighter buster and greatly boosting the damage of his entire team's Physical damage dealers.
Strengths
1. Early Game Dominance: High burst damage from S2 combo and enhanced S1 makes him one of the best 1v1 EXP laners. 2. Tank Shredder: His S2's armor-shredding effect is unparalleled, turning even the tankiest heroes into squishy targets. 3. Great Sustain: His passive, Circle Strike, triggers after every two basic attacks, dealing damage in an area and healing him based on the damage dealt, providing strong laning sustain. 4. Burst Finisher: His Ultimate, Abysm Strike, deals higher damage the lower the target's HP, making it a perfect execution tool.
Weaknesses
1. Vulnerable to Ganks: While S2 is a dash, it can be easily body-blocked or interrupted, making him easy to shut down if focused by multiple enemies. 2. Reliance on S2 Landing: His entire burst combo and physical defense shred depend on landing the second phase of S2 (Fatal Strike). A miss severely cripples his damage. 3. CC Vulnerability: He has no built-in Crowd Control (CC) immunity. Hard CC (Stuns, Suppress, Airborne) can completely interrupt his combo and leave him exposed. 4. Ultimate Predictability: His Ultimate has a noticeable charge-up animation, which good enemies can easily dodge with a simple dash or blink skill.
EXP Lane - Burst Focus
The core focus is on Physical Penetration to maximize the damage amplification from his S2's armor shred, combined with key utility items. 1. Tough Boots / Warrior Boots Tough: Best against heavy CC and Magic Damage. Warrior: Best against Physical Damage laners/junglers. 2. War Axe Provides Physical Attack, CD Reduction, and a unique passive that grants Physical Penetration and Movement Speed upon dealing damage, perfectly matching Dyrroth's sustained fighting style. 3. Hunter Strike Huge Physical Attack, CD Reduction, and Physical Penetration. Its passive grants a burst of Movement Speed upon hitting an enemy hero 5 times, helping you chase or escape. 4 Blade of Despair (BoD) Massive increase in Physical Attack. The passive grants even more Physical Attack when hitting targets below 50% HP, greatly enhancing his Abysm Strike (Ultimate) as a finisher. 5. Dominance Ice Provides Armor, Mana Regen, CD Reduction, and an essential passive: Anti-Heal (reduces Lifesteal/Regen) and Attack Speed reduction for the enemy team. Great against high-sustain heroes. 6. Immortality Provides a second life with a shield, which is crucial for a dive-heavy fighter. If the game ends quickly, it can be replaced with another damage item.
Assassin Emblem - Burst Damage
Dyrroth is best suited for the Assassin Emblem to maximize his burst damage and movement speed for chasing and roaming. Tier 1: Swift Increases Attack Speed. Essential for quickly stacking his passive (Circle Strike) and enhancing his overall damage output in between skills. Tier 2: Master Assassin Increases damage when only one enemy hero is nearby. This is perfect for Dyrroth's specialty: 1v1 duels in the EXP Lane or picking off isolated squishies. Tier 3: Lethal Ignition After dealing damage to an enemy three times within 5 seconds, it burns the target for extra damage.
Battle Spell
Allows for critical repositioning to land the S2 combo, chase a fleeing low-HP target for an Ultimate finish, or, most commonly, to adjust the direction and range of his charged Abysm Strike for a surprise kill.
Dominant Phase
Early Game - Dominant Dyrroth is one of the strongest heroes at Level 2 (with S1 and S2 unlocked) due to the immense burst potential from a successful S2 combo and his passive's sustain. Abuse this phase to bully the enemy EXP laner and control the gold crab. Mid Game - Strong With 2-3 damage items, he becomes a terrifying assassin for squishy targets. He excels at rotating to help secure the Turtle/Turrets or flanking to burst down enemy Marksmen/Mages. Late Game - Conditional His effectiveness hinges on his ability to flank and burst a back-liner before being caught by CC. If the enemy front-line is too tanky and positioned well, Dyrroth can struggle. His main role here is to shred the tank/fighter with S2 so the team can follow up.
Best With Floryn
100% co-op win rate
They provide additional healing, shields, and movement speed to further boost his already massive sustain and help him stick to targets.
Watch Out For Guinevere
20% counter win rate
Heroes that can interrupt his S2 combo, especially by knocking him up or suppressing him, negate his damage and leave him vulnerable to their burst.
