Overview

Obsidia is a unique Marksman who leverages on-hit effects and her ultimate's powerful chase and lockdown utility to melt high-mobility or squishy targets. She transitions from a slow-starting laner to an explosive late-game carry by utilizing her Bone Shard passive. Key Mechanics: Bone Shards (Passive) Obsidia generates Bone Energy by dealing damage (more from skills and heroes). When full, it creates a Bone Shard (up to a limit). Her basic attacks fire all stored Bone Shards, with each shard inheriting a portion of her Attack Effects (like slow, lifesteal, HP-based damage). This mechanic makes her damage scale exceptionally with on-hit items and attack speed.

Strengths

Anti-Mobility Lockdown: Her Ultimate, Hunt of Bone, is a unique counter to dash/blink heroes (Fanny, Joy, Harith, etc.). It tethers the target, prevents them from using displacement skills, and allows Obsidia to attack while moving and pass through walls, securing near-guaranteed kills on a squishy target. Exceptional Late-Game Damage: With a full stack of Bone Shards and her core on-hit items (Demon Hunter Sword, Corrosion Scythe), her basic attacks deliver devastating bursts of multi-hit damage, shredding both tanks and squishy heroes alike. Sustain and Poke: Her Skill 1, Abyssal Bone Needle, is a low-cooldown poke tool that quickly stacks her passive, and with on-hit lifesteal, the passive's multiple hits provide great sustain in fights. Repositioning/Chase: Her Skill 2, Phantom Shadowmeld, provides a burst of movement speed for quick kiting or repositioning, which is further enhanced with her Ultimate active.

Weaknesses

Weak Early Game: Her damage is low until she accumulates a decent amount of Bone Shards and completes her first few core items. She is easily pressured in the Gold Lane by early-game Marksmen. Vulnerable to Burst and CC: Her Ultimate forces her into a target's range, which can be suicidal if the target has high burst damage (Eudora, Aurora, Saber) or if she is caught by enemy crowd control (CC) during the tether. Countered by Blade Armor: Since her damage is heavily reliant on her basic attacks and multi-hit passive, an enemy tank/fighter with Blade Armor and Dominance Ice can punish her severely through damage reflection and attack speed reduction. Single-Target Focus: Outside of her basic attacks, her primary kill potential relies on her Ultimate, which is strictly single-target. She can struggle to impact large team fights compared to area-of-effect Marksmen.

On-hit Build

Obsidia thrives on items that have potent Attack Effects to maximize the damage output of her multiple Bone Shard hits. 1. Swift Boots (or Magic Boots): Swift Boots for Attack Speed is standard. Magic Boots (CDR) is a viable alternative for more frequent Skill 1 poke and Ultimate uptime. 2. Corrosion Scythe: The slow effect and extra basic attack damage trigger on every Bone Shard hit, making her basic attacks a massive area slow and damage zone. This is a core stacking and utility item. 3. Demon Hunter Sword (DHS): The HP-based damage is inherited by the Bone Shards, allowing her to shred high-HP heroes (Tanks/Fighters) with incredible speed. 4. Golden Staff: Converts her crit chance into more attack speed and enhances the frequency of the Demon Hunter Sword and Corrosion Scythe passives, dramatically increasing her Bone Shard and on-hit output. 5. Malefic Gun: Provides high Physical Penetration and additional attack range. 6. Rose Gold Meteor: Immortal provides a second life against burst. Rose Gold Meteor provides a shield when low on HP, which is often enough to save her during her aggressive Ultimate dive.

Critical Build

A critical build emphasizes raw burst damage, ideal when the enemy team lacks high-HP tanks or when you want to execute squishy heroes faster. 1. Swift Boots: Standard Marksman boots for increased Attack Speed, which is essential for stacking the passive and triggering crits more often. 2. Windtalker: Provides Attack Speed, Movement Speed (useful for kiting), Critical Chance, and an attack effect that scales well with her fast attack rate. 3. Haa's Claw: Adds more Attack Speed, Lifesteal, and Critical Chance, and its passive further increases Attack Speed after a critical hit, making her a relentless damage dealer. 4. Berserker's Fury The essential core of any critical build. Provides high Critical Chance and a massive boost to Critical Damage, significantly increasing the potential of her Bone Shard bursts. 5. Malefic Gun: Provides high Physical Penetration and additional attack range. 6. Sea Halberd: Its unique passive, Life Drain, reduces the enemy's HP Regen and Shield to 60%. Since Obsidia's basic attacks hit multiple times due to her Bone Shards, she applies this anti-heal effect rapidly and reliably, significantly crippling enemy sustain and making them easier targets for her Ultimate lock-down.

Marksman Emblem

Obsidia is primarily an attack-speed, on-hit Marksman who focuses on consistent damage and power spikes. The Custom Marksman Emblem provides the best mix of offensive stats. Crowd Control/Utility: This set is more utility-focused. Agility and Bargain Hunter help her reposition, stack, and build faster. Weakness Finder gives her basic attacks a chance to slow the enemy, helping her stick to targets and kite in the lane, making her less reliant on the slow from Corrosion Scythe early on.

Battle Spell

Flicker: Provides a crucial emergency escape/repositioning tool to cover her vulnerability, or to close the gap for a surprise Ultimate cast.

Dominant Phase: Early to Late Game

Early Game (Phase 1): Weak. Focus on safely farming Gold Lane minions with Skill 1 to poke and build initial Bone Shard stacks. Avoid aggressive trades unless you have a numbers advantage. Prioritize getting Corrosion Scythe and Demon Hunter Sword components. Mid Game (Phase 2): Average to Strong. Once DHS and Corrosion Scythe are complete, her dueling potential spikes. Look for ganks on unsuspecting squishy heroes or rotate to secure objectives. Her Ultimate can be used for reliable pick-offs, especially on mobile sidelaners. Late Game (Phase 3): Extremely Strong (Carry). With max Bone Shards and her full build, she becomes a monster. Her ability to delete tanks and completely shut down high-mobility assassins/mages with her Ultimate makes her a terrifying core. She must be protected but should be the primary damage dealer.

Best With Floryn

100% co-op win rate

Obsidia's ultimate tether allows Floryn's heal to be used reliably. Floryn's Lantern passive provides a continuous boost to Obsidia's basic attack damage, further amplifying her shards.

Watch Out For Joy

80% counter win rate

Obsidia's Ultimate completely disables heroes that rely heavily on dashes/blinks like Joy, disallowing her displacement skills, turning her into an easy target.
