Overview

Obsydia is a durable and versatile hero who excels in both initiating fights and protecting allies. Her skill set allows her to control enemy movements, soak up damage, and create openings for her team. She is usually played as a Tank or Fighter, depending on team composition, and can fit in either the roaming/support role or the EXP lane. With her crowd-control abilities and high sustain, Obsydia is highly effective in prolonged team fights. Her farming route is often secondary since she thrives more in rotations and ganks, but she can clear jungle camps and minions decently if needed.

Strengths

Strong Crowd Control (CC): Has reliable stuns or immobilization that can change the course of fights. Durability: High defense and sustain make her difficult to burst down, especially in team fights. Initiator: Can start fights effectively with her gap-closing and CC abilities. Team Fight Presence: Excels in grouped battles, providing frontline protection and peeling for squishy allies. Late Game Tankiness: Becomes harder to kill as the game progresses, scaling well with defensive items.

Weaknesses

Low Early Game Damage: Struggles to secure kills alone and often relies on teammates to capitalize on her setup. Item Dependent: Needs core defensive items to truly shine as a frontline hero. Vulnerable to Crowd Control: Despite her tankiness, she can be locked down and kited if controlled by multiple CC-heavy enemies. Mobility Reliance: If her initiating skill misses or is on cooldown, she becomes less threatening and easier to ignore. Weak Against Poke Damage: Continuous ranged harass can chip her health before she gets a chance to engage.

damage build

this build ensures Obsydia has speed, sustain, armor penetration, and huge damage output, making her dangerous in both duels and team fights.

harssing enemies

I chose the Swift Emblem Talent because it provides +10% Attack Speed, which helps Obsydia deal more consistent damage in fights. Since her skills and basic attacks benefit from faster attack animations, the extra speed allows her to: Farm faster (clear minions/jungle quicker). Harass enemies more effectively during the laning phase. Trigger passive/skill effects more often, making her combos smoother. Scale better into mid and late game, where attack speed improves her sustained DPS. Overall, this emblem set boosts her damage output and consistency, making her more threatening in both 1v1 duels and team fights.

early game (laning phase)

During the early game, focus on last-hitting minions to secure gold and experience. If your hero is weak at this stage, play safe and avoid unnecessary trades, but if your hero has strong early damage, try to harass enemies to gain lane dominance. Always place vision in the river or jungle to prevent ganks, and communicate with your team for possible early rotations or invades.

Best With Franco

60% co-op win rate

Obsidia and Franco are a perfect match because Franco can easily hook or lock down enemies with his crowd control, allowing Obsidia to follow up with her burst skills for maximum damage. Their combo makes it very difficult for opponents to escape, and together they can dominate both pick-offs and team fights by isolating key targets.

Watch Out For Brody

100% counter win rate

Obsidia has a huge advantage against Brody because her high burst damage and disabling abilities can prevent him from fully utilizing his skill combos. Since Brody depends on timing and positioning to maximize his damage, Obsidia can quickly pressure him in fights and eliminate him before he can scale or contribute effectively to his team.
