Overview

Thamuz revamp is a unique core with unique set of skills that will dominate in early and even late game. Thamuz can chase, burst, and even tank enemies damage. mythic

Strengths

Thamuz is very strong in the early game with high base damage and sustain, making him a dominant laner. His skills give him excellent chase potential, and his lifesteal allows him to heal during fights, making him durable even in extended battles. In team fights, his AoE damage forces enemies to reposition, while his tanky fighter nature lets him absorb damage and still deal continuous DPS.

Weaknesses

Despite his durability, Thamuz is vulnerable to burst damage from mages and marksmen. He relies heavily on landing his skills to maximize damage and sustain, and ranged heroes with good mobility can easily kite him. Without his ultimate, he becomes much weaker in fights, and he also depends on core items to reach his full power in the mid to late game.

Chase build

This build is designed to maximize Thamuz ability to chase and stick to enemies. Swift Boots and Corrosion Scythe give him speed and slow effects to prevent targets from escaping, while DHS and War Axe boost his sustained damage in long fights. Dominance Ice weakens enemies by reducing their healing and movement, and Immortality/Haass Claws provide survivability so he can keep diving and chasing without dying easily.

Tanky build

This setup makes Thamuz a durable core who can initiate and sustain long fights. War Axe keeps his damage strong, while Dominance Ice and Antique Cuirass let him tank both marksmen and mage bursts. Guardian Helmet ensures he can heal up quickly after fights, and Immortality gives him insurance in late game clashes. This build allows Thamuz to dive into the backline, soak damage, and still survive long enough to disrupt the enemy team.

Burst build

This setup focuses on maximizing Thamuz skill burst and penetration damage. Hunter Strike and BoD let him deal huge damage in a short time, while Malefic Roar ensures he can shred tanks. Bloodlust Axe gives him sustain from his skills, allowing him to heal while dishing out damage. With this build, Thamuz can quickly melt down squishy targets and still survive with Immortality as backup

Tank build

Emblem for tankyness, remember:this is the emblem if you want to be tanky - I pick firmness so thamuz can be tanky it helps in a clash situation so you can also go front rather than just the roamer and exp - I use Seasoned Hunter so u have more chance to secure the turtle and lor$ -Concussive Blast so that thamuz can dominate in a clash

Chase build

This is when you have an enemy that is poker, you can prioritize the backline of the enemy like zhuxin, Kimmy, Granger , etc... - Agility can make Thamuz move faster, making it easier to chase poke heroes and dive into the enemy backline like Kimmy, Granger, or Zhuxin. - Seasoned Hunter because the damage of thamuz against Turtle and Lord, helping him secure objectives faster and dominate jungle fights.

Burst build

Use this when you have squishy enemy heroes - thrill, this talent gives Thamuz extra attack power early, boosting his burst damage in fights and trades. -Seasoned Hunter, best for jungle Thamuz, this talent increases damage to Turtle and Lord for faster objective control. - Lethal ignition, this talent gives Thamuz extra attack power early, boosting his burst damage in fights and trades.

Best emblem (for me)

This is when I'm not sure what emblem should I use because of different playstyle from opponent. -Thrill gives Thamuz bonus adaptive attack, boosting his burst damage in early trades and team fights. -I use Seasoned Hunter because it boosts Thamuz damage to Turtle and Lord, helping me secure objectives faster and control the game. - Temporal Reign gives Thamuz extra sustain by restoring HP after using his ultimate, making him tougher in long team fights.

Battle Spell

Thamuz is one of the best in the new season, when playing as a jungler because it helps him clear creeps faster, giving him an early game advantage to dominate lanes and pressure enemies. Always prioritize securing Turtle and with Retribution to maximize Thamuz. It also allows him to dominate early game to late game.

Chase phase

Early Game / Laning Precautions Focus on poking enemies with your passive (fire scythes) while using your mobility to avoid getting poked back.Always keep your scythes hitting minions and enemies together to apply pressure and regen HP.Be careful against ranged heroes (like Kimmy or Zhuxin); use bushes. Dont overextend without vision — Thamuz is strong in 1v1, but he can be punished if ganked early.Mid to Late Game / Team Fight StrategyActivate your ultimate before diving so you have lifesteal and damage over time during the chase.Prioritize squishy backline heroes (MM, Mage) — your chase build makes it hard for them to escape

Tanky phase

Early Game / Laning Precautions Focus on clearing waves quickly with your scythes, then rotate to help secure Turtle or invade jungle. Play safe in the first few levels if the enemy has strong poke wait until you have your ultimate to fully engage. Use the sustain from your passive to trade safely — let enemies overcommit, then punish with continuous damage. Dont chase too deep without your tank or vision even tanky Thamuz can get locked down by CC. Mid to Late Game / Team Fight Strategy Always activate your ultimate before diving in — it gives you both damage and survivability.Take the role of frontliner/initiator: absorb enemy skills and create space for your backline to deal damage.Focus on disrupting the enemys backline by zoning marksmen and mages; you dont always need to kill them, just keep them busy.Stick close to objectives — your tanky build + Dominance Ice + Antique Cuirass make you excellent at contesting Turtle and Lord.In late game team fights, prioritize survival over kills. Even if you dont secure kills, soaking damage and controlling space wins fights.

Burst phase

Early Game / Laning Precautions Play aggressively after level 2 — your skill damage + passive burn can win early trades. Time your skill spam to poke enemies under your scythes, then back off to heal with lifesteal items (like Bloodlust Axe later). Dont overcommit without minions; burst Thamuz is strong, but he can be punished if dived under turret. Secure jungle creeps or Lithowanderer early with your skill combo to speed up item progression. Mid to Late Game / Team Fight Strategy Target squishy backliners first — your burst build is made to delete marksmen and mages in seconds. Use Flicker + 1st skill or Sprint + Scythes to surprise enemies and lock them down. Always cast ultimate before diving — it gives sustain and adds damage while you burst down priority targets. Stick with your teams initiator; you are not the tank here, so let them absorb CC before you dive. After using your burst combo, reposition quickly — Thamuz without cooldowns is vulnerable, so dont stay stuck in the frontline.
