Overview
Obsydia is a mage/assassin hybrid who specializes in dealing high burst magic damage and applying crowd control to enemies. She is usually played in the mid lane, where she can farm safely and rotate quickly to help side lanes. Obsydia excels in team fights with her AoE skills that can punish grouped enemies, and her mobility allows her to chase down or escape opponents.
Strengths
High Burst Damage Can easily eliminate squishy heroes like marksmen and mages. Strong Crowd Control Skills can slow, immobilize, or disable enemies. Great Roaming and Ganking Her mobility makes it easy to pressure side lanes. Team Fight Dominance Can change the tide of a clash with her AoE magic skills. Scaling Power Becomes stronger as the game progresses, especially with core items.
Weaknesses
Very Squishy Low durability, can be killed quickly if caught. Mana Dependent Needs good mana management in the early game. Skill-Reliant If she misses her abilities, she becomes less effective in fights. Vulnerable to CC Crowd control effects can shut her down instantly. Weak Early Game Needs items to unlock her full potential.
Marksman equipment
I chose this equipment build to increase my attack speed, critical chance, and lifesteal. These items help me deal strong damage in team fights and carry my team in the late game.
Marksman/blade
I chose this jungle equipment build to clear monsters faster and get more gold early. The items also boost my attack power and lifesteal, making me effective in ganks and objectives.
Marksman Emblem
I chose the Marksman Emblem because it provides extra physical attack, attack speed, and critical chance which are very important for dealing high damage. This emblem helps me scale faster in the game and makes my basic attacks stronger. It is perfect for marksman heroes since they rely on consistent damage to carry the team, especially in the late game.
Battle Spell
I chose Aegis because it provides a strong shield that can save me or my teammates during fights. It is very useful when the enemy has high burst damage, as the shield absorbs part of the damage for 5 seconds. The best time to use Aegis is when you are about to receive enemy skills or during a team fight to survive longer. This spell is especially effective for squishy heroes or backline heroes like mages and marksmen.
Dominants Ice
I chose Dominance Ice as the dominant item because it provides strong defense and mana, helping Obsidia survive longer in battles. Its unique effect reduces enemy attack speed and shield regeneration, making it very effective against lifesteal and sustain heroes. Focus on farming early game to get your core items quickly since Obsidia needs damage to scale. Use her skills wisely to poke enemies while staying at a safe distance. Always position at the backline during team fights because Obsidia is squishy. Take advantage of her high damage output to secure objectives like Turtle and Lord. Avoid going alone in the late game; stick with your team for protection.
Best With Tigreal
100% co-op win rate
The selected emblem, spell, and equipment synergize well with Obsidia because they increase her damage, attack speed, and survivability, which are all important for a marksman hero. With these, Obsidia can deal consistent damage in team fights while staying safe in the backline. Hero Compatibility: Obsidia is highly compatible with Tigreal because he can initiate fights and control enemies with his crowd control skills. This gives Obsidia a safe position to freely attack and maximize her damage output.
Watch Out For Hayabusa
100% counter win rate
Obsidia is strong against heroes with low mobility and weak durability, such as mages and other marksmen, because she can deal consistent long-range damage. However, she is easily countered by assassins and burst heroes who can quickly close the gap, like Saber or Hayabusa, since she is very squishy. Tanks with crowd control, such as Tigreal or Franco, also counter her by locking her down before she can deal damage.
