Overview
Meet Yu Zhong, The reincarnation of the black dragon who's ultimate goal is to unify the entire cardia riverlands through conquest. Yu Zhong is a strong fighter in the exp lane.
Strengths
Yu Zhong can actually dominate most fighters if used well. His lane clearing speed is decent and most importantly he excels in team fights and shines most against multiple opponents. He can reduce half of the entire teams health all by himself and even kill some if used right, making it easier for the team to sweep in and wipe out. He is quite tanky so it's best you build him with the usual fighter build and add tanky items accordingly. Yu Zhong's max potential can be only brought out when he or his team coordinate with each other
Weaknesses
Yu Zhong may lack sustain when faced against anti regens + burst enemies. Its necessary you always initiate when you have your team around. One of his core weakness is that he can be taken out easily by a long distance burst marksmen. Yu Zhong is heavily team reliant.
Yz standard build
Yu Zhong's core items are composed of War axe and queens wings for the most part, alongside dominace ice. Though the last three slot mostly depends on the enemy line up so adjust accordingly. If you have good def and doing well and require dmg just get brute force. If it's safe for you to get more regen add oracle. If you need better physical defense add antique cuirass.
Regen/Damage
This one is better for team fights when Yu Zhong is up against multiple enemies
Better mobility
This one allows you to both engage and disengage faster, specially better for hit and run . This one demands good understand of Yz
Cool down reduction
To maximize the potential of this set, Use his humanoid skills on the enemies before hand before using ultimate to get most of his skills back in no time. This one also demands proper understanding of Yz
Battle Spell
Two spells can be used for yz. One is vengeance other is Petrify. Vengeance is good for making yz tank and last more during fights. While Petrify allows him to stop and land his skills completely on the enemy, Pair Petrify with his third skill for max potential
Early to exp and conservative late
Avoid death but play aggressively during early to Mid stages of Yu Zhong. Make sure to use his passive to the fullest and connect his skills in a fast manner. You can both be a fast hand or a slow hand Yu Zhong. People just don't know this enough. During late stage of the game you'll absolutely need to initiate with your team and focus on taking+dishing out damage to the enemy. Do not fight alone. Don't lose confidence but rely on team as well. Take out their fighters or squishy heroes by yourself only when you're confident you'll win and not die.
