Overview
Obsidia is a shard-wielding marksman who excels in scaling damage. She collects Bone Shards through combat, empowering her attacks to shred enemies in the mid-to-late game. With her tether-based ultimate, she can lock down mobile targets while dishing out sustained DPS.
Strengths
Obsidia excels in the late game with her shard-scaling damage, allowing her basic attacks to hit extremely hard. Her ultimate can tether mobile heroes, making it easier to secure kills, while her mobility skill gives her the flexibility to reposition, chase, or escape. With proper farming and positioning, she can carry team fights with consistent DPS.
Weaknesses
Despite her strengths, Obsidia has clear weaknesses that can be exploited. She is very squishy, making her vulnerable to assassins and burst damage, especially during the early game when her shard count is still low. Her power spike heavily depends on shard farming, so dying repeatedly will set her back significantly and make her a non-threat. In addition, her ultimate can be a double-edged sword — while it can secure kills, it also pulls her close to enemies, which can be risky without proper positioning or backup from her team. If misused, she can easily be punished and taken down before unleashing her full potential.
Chase and Burst
This build maximizes Obsidia's sustain, mobility, and critical damage, with Malefic Gun as the key item for the added attack speed, lifesteal, and range, while Rose Gold Meteor ensures survival against burst magical and physical damage with the low-hp shield.
Chase and Burst
For Obsidia, the Marksman Emblem is the best setup. Take Fatal in Tier 1 for higher crit chance, then Weapon Master in Tier 2 to maximize the Physical Attack gained from items. For the final talent, Weakness Finder is highly recommended since her rapid basic attacks often trigger slows, making it easier to chase or kite enemies.
Battle Spell
Synergizes with her ultimate because you can Flicker in unexpected directions after tethering, surprising enemies and securing kills.
Shard Supremacy
In her Dominant Phase, Obsidia should clear waves and quicly rotate to easily get stacks, but avoid overextending without vision as she's still vulnerable to crowd control. Enter fights with full shards, use skills before basic attack to trigger Malefic Gun's range boost, and position safely at the backline to shred priority targets. Let your tank initiate, then dive in to clean up with lifesteal and critical damage, while relying on Rose Gold Meteor's Shield for survival. Finally, capitalize on her fast attack speed to secure objectives like Lord and towers, turning teamfight wins into map control.
Best With Mathilda
100% co-op win rate
Mathilda offers mobility, buffs, and shields. Mathilda's ability to help engage or disengage pairs well with Obsidia's need for positioning and safety, especially when entering teamfights.
Watch Out For Saber
20% counter win rate
His triple-strike combo (Ultimate: Triple Sweep) locks her down instantly, and because Obsidia relies on lifesteal and positioning to survive, she usually can't recover once Saber bursts her. Even if she builds sustain items. Saber's single target supression ensures Obsidia gets deleted before she can fight back, especially in mid to late game when Saber can roam and pick her off during rotations or teamfights.
