Overview
Obsidia is MLBBs newest marksman built around stacking Bone Shards for insane damage. She pokes with Skill 1, dashes with Skill 2, and her ultimate locks enemies so they cant escape, perfect against mobile heroes. Weak early, but once she scales, she becomes a late game shredder that can carry fights.
Strengths
Obsidias biggest strength is her damage in the late game. Once she has items she can burst down enemies really fast. Her ultimate is also very useful because it stops heroes that like to dash around so she is a good counter to mobile heroes. She can farm and poke from a safe distance with her first skill and her shards can even take effects from items like lifesteal which makes her stronger in fights.
Weaknesses
Obsidia is very weak in the early game because she needs items before she can deal big damage. She is also really squishy so she can get killed fast if caught. Her ultimate can be risky too because it pulls her close to enemies so if you use it at the wrong time she can be burst down easily.
For Tanky Enemies
When I face tanky lineups I go for a build that helps Obsidia cut through their defense. I start with Swift Boots for the attack speed so I can farm and stack faster. Demon Hunter Sword is always my core because it shreds high HP tanks then I add Golden Staff so her shards and item effects come out nonstop. Malefic Roar is my answer to armor since most tanks stack it. I pick Endless Battle for the sustain and bonus damage after skills and I finish with Blade of Despair to give her that huge late game punch. With this setup even the tankiest heroes cannot stand in front of her.
For Squishy
When I am up against squishy heroes I always go all in on damage and crit. I start with Swift Boots to farm faster then rush Berserkers Fury because one crit already takes out half their HP. Haas Claws keeps me alive in trades and Golden Staff makes my shards rain nonstop. Great Dragon Spear gives me that chase and extra crit to finish off runners then I close it with Blade of Despair for the ultimate late game nuke. With this build squishies do not even get the chance to fight back they just melt
Marksman Beast
For Obsidia I always go with the Marksman emblem because it brings out her full potential. I set it to Swift Attack for the extra attack speed so I can farm faster and stack Bone Shards without falling behind. Tenacity is my choice in the second tier since Obsidia is fragile and this small boost in durability often saves me in clutch fights. For the main talent I lock in Weakness Finder. The slow effect is perfect for Obsidia because once I tether an enemy with her ultimate that extra slow makes it almost impossible for them to escape. With this setup I can pressure lanes early scale smoothly and completely dominate in the mid to late game. In my experience it is the most reliable emblem build to carry games with her.
Battle Spell
For me Obsidia with inspire just feels like the perfect spell for her. Since most of her damage comes from basic attacks and Bone Shards, the extra attack speed really lets me shred enemies fast. I like pairing it with her ultimate because once I lock someone down, they cannot escape and Inspire makes sure I finish them off quickly. It also helps me farm smoother in the early game which is important because she starts off weak until she gets items.
Mid to Late Game Domination Peak💯🔥😎
Obsidia is the kind of hero that starts quiet but ends up stealing the whole game. Early on she just farms and builds up but once mid game hits and her items are online the damage is insane. By late game she does not just fight she dominates. Tanks crumble, squishies melt, and her ultimate makes it almost impossible to escape. That is why playing Obsidia feels so satisfying because the moment she hits her power spike the game flips in your favor.
Best With Atlas
Atlas is probably the perfect match because once he pulls everyone in with his ultimate Obsidia can lock them down with hers and shred the whole team
Watch Out For Moskov
From my experience, Obsidia has a huge advantage against Moskov. He relies on dashes to stay safe, but once I catch him with her ultimate, he is stuck and easy to shred.
