Overview

Alice is a Queen of Blood, a blood demon who can enter a "blood-draining" state to recover HP while dealing continuous damage to nearby enemies. She uses her first skill, Flowing Blood, to fire a blood sphere and can blink to its location, allowing for great mobility and repositioning. Her second skill, Blood Awe, immobilizes and slows enemies in an area around her.

Strengths

High sustain: Alice's ability to consistently heal herself in combat is her biggest asset. This makes her difficult to kill in team fights, especially when she is surrounded by multiple enemies. Excellent mobility: Her first skill, Flowing Blood, provides a powerful dash that can be used to initiate fights, escape danger, or chase down low-health enemies. Strong scaling: Alice is a late-game monster who becomes more formidable as the match progresses. As she levels up, her healing received and movement speed increase, and her items amplify her damage and survivability. Good area-of-effect (AoE) control: With her second skill and ultimate, Alice can deal sustained damage and apply crowd control to multiple enemies simultaneously, making her a formidable force in team fights. Tanky for a Mage: Alice can inflict high damage while being able to absorb a substantial amount of punishment, acting as a disruptive frontline Mage.

Weaknesses

Weak early game: Alice is relatively vulnerable and has lower damage output during the laning phase. She needs time and items to become effective. Vulnerable to anti-heal: Heroes who can apply anti-healing effects, like Baxia or items such as Sea Halberd and Necklace of Durance, can significantly reduce her survivability by negating her core sustain mechanic. Susceptible to burst damage: Although her sustain is high, Alice can be vulnerable to heroes with immense burst damage, especially if they can eliminate her before she can activate her sustain effectively. Susceptible to crowd control (CC): While she can dive the backline, strong CC from heroes like Franco, Tigreal, or Nana can lock her down and prevent her from dealing damage or healing herself. Vulnerable to HP%-based damage: Heroes like Karrie or Alpha who deal damage based on a percentage of the enemy's max HP are effective counters against Alice, especially since she naturally builds higher HP. Skill-dependent: With the revamped passive, Alice now has to land skills on enemy heroes to activate her sustain, making her highly dependent on her cooldowns and successful skill hits in team fights.

Tanky With Damage

As a hybrid Mage and Tank, Alice's equipment set should be a mix of items that provide magical damage, survivability, and cooldown reduction. The items listed below are the most effective choices for her in the current meta. Maximize sustain: Items like Concentrated Energy and Oracle amplify Alice's already powerful healing, allowing her to stay in fights much longer than other mages. Mix damage and defense: This balanced approach allows Alice to both deal damage and serve as a disruptive, hard-to-kill frontline mage. Scale into late game: Clock of Destiny is essential for helping Alice scale into the mid and late game, where she becomes a dominant force.

Damage + Spell Vamp + Sustain

The Mage emblem is the standard and most reliable option for Alice, as it enhances her damage and spell vamp, which directly benefits her sustain. Tier 1: Rupture (+5 Adaptive Penetration) Why it works: This talent provides early-game magic penetration to help Alice deal more damage to enemies, even if they build magic defense. This is especially useful during her weaker laning phase. Tier 2: Festival of Blood (+8% Spell Vamp, stacking up to 20%) Why it works: Festival of Blood increases Alice's spell vamp, boosting her healing with every skill hit. Since her passive now provides consistent, rapid healing, this talent further enhances her survivability in team fights. Tier 3: Impure Rage (Deals bonus damage and recovers mana on skill hits) Why it works: Impure Rage provides extra damage on skill hits and also addresses her mana issues, which can sometimes be a problem when spamming abilities early on.

Battle Spell

Flicker Best for: Initiating team fights and survivability. Why it works: Enhanced mobility: While Alice has mobility with her first skill, Flicker gives her a second, instant dash. This is crucial for making clutch escapes or for re-positioning during team fights. Surprise initiation: A classic Alice combo involves throwing her Flowing Blood orb, then using Flicker and her ultimate, Throne of Ruin, together for a powerful and unexpected initiation. Disruption: With a well-timed Flicker, you can catch multiple enemies in your ultimate and second skill, disrupting their formation.

Mid To Late Game Phases

Weak phase: Early game Alice is relatively weak in the early game and needs to play passively and farm safely. Vulnerable to pressure: Without items, her damage is low, and she is easily harassed by enemy laners, especially Marksmen who outrange her. Item-dependent: She relies on completing core items like Clock of Destiny and Concentrated Energy to scale her damage and sustain. Limited impact: Before she has her full kit and a couple of items, her team fight presence is low, and she needs to focus on farming and avoiding unnecessary fights. Dominant phase: Mid to late game Once Alice acquires her core items and reaches level four, her power spikes, and she becomes a formidable force. Mid-game power spike: After acquiring her ultimate, Throne of Ruin, at level four, she can start playing more aggressively in team fights, especially when the enemy is grouped up. She can safely clear waves and start roaming to other lanes and contest objectives like the Turtle. Tanky and high-sustain: With items like Clock of Destiny and Concentrated Energy, Alice becomes incredibly difficult to kill due to her immense healing capabilities and increased HP. This allows her to dive into the enemy backline and disrupt team fights while absorbing pressure. Team fight dominance: In the late game, a well-positioned Alice can be a game-changer. She can use her first skill, Flowing Blood, to teleport into the enemy backline, lock down squishy heroes with her ultimate, and unleash AoE damage and healing. Exceptional scaling: Her damage and healing scale exceptionally well with magic power, making her a devastating force at full build. She can tear through most enemy compositions while shrugging off damage.

Best With Atlas

Atlas's ultimate, Fatal Links, gathers enemies into a tight spot. This allows Alice to maximize her passive and ultimate's area-of-effect (AoE) damage and healing on multiple targets.

Watch Out For Karrie

This marksman deals true damage based on a percentage of the target's HP, which ignores Alice's magic defense. This makes Karrie exceptionally good at shredding through a tanky Alice.
