Overview
Obsidia is a powerful, late-game-scaling Marksman hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang who relies on stacking Bone Shards to enhance her abilities and basic attacks. She excels at sustained damage and burst potential, often using a reactive playstyle with dashes and untargetability to maneuver through combat. Due to her dependency on stacks, she has a weaker early game but can dominate once she accumulates enough power in the mid to late game.
Strengths
Exceptional late-game scaling: Obsidia's passive, "Return to Bone," causes her to generate Bone Shards by damaging enemies. Once a certain number of shards are collected, they are unleashed with her basic attacks, dealing immense bonus physical damage. This makes her an absolute monster in the late game after she has fully stacked her passive. High single-target damage: Her ability to stack her passive and add bonus damage to her basic attacks allows her to melt squishy targets like enemy Mages and Marksmen. When focusing a single enemy, the damage can be overwhelming. Target lockdown with Ultimate: Obsidia's ultimate, "Hunt of Bone," is a potent finishing tool. It tethers her to a target, pulling herself toward them and preventing them from using displacement skills for a short duration. This is particularly strong against high-mobility heroes, ensuring they cannot escape. Situational mobility and untargetability: Her second skill, "Phantom Shadowmeld," grants a quick burst of movement speed to help her reposition. When enhanced, it briefly makes her untargetable, providing a crucial tool for dodging enemy crowd control or burst damage.
Weaknesses
Weak early game: Obsidia needs time to farm and stack her passive to become a threat. During the early game, her damage is low, and she is vulnerable to pressure from her lane opponent and ganks from the jungler. Susceptible to dive and CC: Despite her second skill, she is not very agile and can be locked down and burst by heroes who can close the gap quickly. Good counters include assassins with high burst like Saber or Ling, or heroes with reliable crowd control like Chou or Guinevere. Vulnerable during Ultimate: While powerful for securing kills, "Hunt of Bone" puts Obsidia in close proximity to her target. If used on a hero with defensive items like Blade Armor or damage reflection, she can put herself at great risk. Countered by anti-attack speed and reflect items: Items that reduce attack speed, such as Dominance Ice, can slow down her shard stacking and basic attack damage. Items like Blade Armor can also punish her for tethering onto a hero and unleashing a flurry of attacks.

The Trinity build (Corrosion Scythe, DHS, Golden Staff) maximizes attack speed and on-hit effects. Because your Bone Shard attacks also apply on-hit effects, this is the best way to leverage both your passive and core marksman item passives at the same time.

Weapons Master (\(+5\%\) Bonus Attack/Magic Power from Equipment): This talent scales incredibly well in the late game. It amplifies all the physical damage stats from her items, significantly boosting her overall damage, including her Bone Shard attacks. Core Talent (Tier 3):Weakness Finder: This talent applies a slow and attack speed reduction with her basic attacks, which helps Obsidia kite and chase enemies. It is an excellent choice for a marksman who benefits from keeping a safe distance while dealing damage.
Battle Spell
Aegis is a defensive battle spell that grants a temporary shield to block a fixed amount of damage. It is a low-cooldown, emergency button for heroes to survive bursts of damage, especially for fragile Marksmen and Mages, by either shielding themselves or a nearby ally with lower HP. To use it, you simply tap the button to activate the shield, or hold and swipe to target a specific hero.
Strength and Weakness
Dominant phase: Mid to late game This is when Obsidia truly becomes a terrifying threat. Her strength is a ticking time bomb that players need to manage during the earlier phases of the match. Mid game: Once Obsidia completes her core items, such as the Corrosion Scythe, Demon Hunter Sword, and Golden Staff, her damage output begins to accelerate dramatically. Her passive, "Return to Bone," which empowers her basic attacks with stacks, is well on its way to being fully loaded. She can now dominate skirmishes and contribute meaningfully to team fights. Late game: This is Obsidia's peak power. With her full item build and a complete stack of Bone Shards, her basic attacks deal immense damage, especially when combined with on-hit effect items. She can tear through even the enemy tanks due to the percentage-based damage from the Demon Hunter Sword. Her ultimate, "Hunt of Bone," becomes a reliable tool for singling out and eliminating high-priority enemy heroes like mages or other marksmen. Weak phase: Early game Obsidia's main weakness is her weak early game, where her damage is low and her passive has not yet fully scaled. Vulnerable in lane: Without items and stacks, Obsidia is very susceptible to pressure in the Gold Lane. Easily countered: Opponents can take advantage of her vulnerability with heroes that can lock her down with crowd control or close the gap quickly. Passive-dependent: Since she relies on her passive stacks for her main damage, Obsidia has to be patient and farm safely until she reaches her power spike. Her passive stacks do not generate from jungle creeps, forcing her to focus on minions and enemy heroes to ramp up her damage.
Best With Franco
A hook-and-stun combination from Franco can isolate a high-priority target for Obsidia to melt with her single-target damage. His ultimate, Bloody Hunt, can also keep an enemy locked down while Obsidia unloads her enhanced basic attacks.
Watch Out For Baxia
A perfect counter due to his passive, which reduces healing and shields, making him very durable against Obsidia's sustained damage. When combined with Blade Armor, Baxia can effectively melt Obsidia with reflected damage.
