Overview
Meet Obsidia, the marksman who gets more terrifying every hit. she's not your average 'point and click' hero, she's all about resource management.
Strengths
when you hit max stacks, you're basically a walking, talking maching gun. Seriously, when you have your full build and a pile of Bone Shards, no one is safe. You will melt tanks and instantly delete squishies. That Ultimate is a game-changer. Heroes like Fanny, Ling, or Claude who rely on mobility? it can't escape against obsidia.
Weaknesses
Let's be real, you're fragile and rely heavily on your stacks. Play smart, or you'll feed. Before you get those Shards and core items, you hit like a wet noodle. Expect to get bullied. A strong early-game Marksman or Fighter will shut down your farm if you're careless. If you die, you lose some Bone Shards, and your damage drops off a cliff. This adds a high-risk layer to your play—you absolutely cannot afford to make careless dives.
Trinity build
The Bone Shards from your passive inherit a portion of Attack Effects. By building the Trinity (Corrosion Scythe, Golden Staff, DHS), you turn those multiple Bone Shard hits into multiple trigger points for slows and HP-scaling damage, making Obsidia the ultimate shredding machine.
Survivalist emblem
The goal for Obsidia's Emblem set is simple: make her basic attacks and her Bone Shards hit harder and faster, and give her the tools to survive in a tough lane.
Battle Spell
Used to maximize the attack speed and on-hit damage from her Bone Shards, ideal for a more aggressive build.
Guide by Phase
The Battle Stage strategy for Obsidia revolves entirely around her role as a scaling Gold Lane Marksman who needs to survive the early game to dominate the late game. In the Early Game, your sole focus is stacking Bone Shards by using your Skill 1 to hit all three minions in the wave, ensuring you keep a safe distance from your opponent. You should avoid fighting unless a kill is guaranteed, as dying means losing precious stacks. The Mid Game is your power spike, signaled by the completion of your core Trinity items; you are now strong enough to join team skirmishes, but must always reserve Skill 2 for escaping enemy threats, never for initiating. Finally, the Late Game is your absolute peak: you must play patiently behind your Tank or Initiator, and once the fight starts, use your powerful Ultimate, Hunt of Bone, exclusively to lock down and eliminate high-mobility enemy core heroes like Assassins and other Marksmen, thus securing victory.
Best With Tigreal
The Perfect Setup. Tigreal's massive area-of-effect (AoE) crowd control from Implosion is the ideal setup for any Marksman, but it's especially good for Obsidia. It guarantees enemies are grouped and held still, allowing Obsidia to unleash her full, stacked Basic Attack damage without needing to use her Ultimate defensively.
Watch Out For Baxia
Baxia's Passive, Baxia Mark, reduces Obsidia's life-steal and healing effects by a significant amount. Since Obsidia often relies on Lifesteal from items like Haas' Claws (if built) or her Emblem's Electro Flash to survive the prolonged fight during her Ultimate, Baxia drastically reduces her survivability and damage endurance.
