Sustain & Durability: His passive (Scorch) provides strong regen in prolonged fights, especially when combined with lifesteal items. 4. Zoning Power: With his Skill 2 (Chasm Trample) and ultimate (Cauterant Inferno), he controls teamfight areas effectively.
Weaknesses
Lacks Burst Damage: Relies on DPS over time, can struggle vs. high-mobility assassins. Kiteable: Can be zoned out by marksmen/mages with good positioning. Scaling Issue: Falls off in ultra-late game if enemy carries are farmed. Ultimate Reliant: Needs his ultimate to survive and maximize lifesteal in teamfights.

This emblem set turns Thamuz into a sustained DPS monster in the jungle. Thrill strengthens his early damage, Festival of Blood gives insane sustain scaling with kills/assists, and Temporal Reign enhances his chase + DPS during ult — which is when Thamuz is at his strongest.

Ice Retribution is the best jungle spell upgrade for Thamuz core because it fixes his weakness (chasing/kiting), makes him deadlier in duels, and secures key objectives.
Best With Angela
Thamuz works best with heroes that can lock down enemies so he can burn them with his skills. Heroes like Tigreal, Atlas, or Khufra give strong crowd control, making it easy for Thamuz to deal continuous damage in team fights. Supports like Estes or Angela also help by keeping him alive during long fights.
Watch Out For Lunox
Thamuz is weak against heroes with strong burst damage and mobility. Mages like Eudora and Lunox can kill him quickly if he dives without backup. Marksmen like Karrie and Claude also counter him because they deal high sustained damage that cuts through his defense. Heroes with blink skills can escape his slows and kites him easily.
