Thamuz is very strong thanks to the revamp,now he's fast quick And strong in my opinion no other hero can counter thamuz if you know how to use him properly and build properly

Thamuz is strong in the mid game if you have his ult you can face everyone but first you must build he's core item

Vengeance is a grate match for thamuz,thamuz is tanky and hard to burst down when you use vengeance it reduce damage so thamuz can sustain a fight longer

In the early game when you are in a disadvantage try to tower hug when you get your ult that where you strike
Mid game
This is where thamuz shine if you build your first core item you but remember always find a way to kill the crab so that you would get a lot of gold

There are compatible because they have the same strength but when 1 of the build their core item first the other would have a hard time
