Overview

Role: Marksman (Finisher / Damage) Lane: Gold Lane Obsidia, "Sovereign of Dark's End," is a marksman hero released on September 17, 2025. She is purchasable for 32,000 Battle Points or 499 Diamonds in the shop. Passive: Return to Bone When Obsidia deals damage (via basic attacks or skills), she gains Bone Energy. Basic Attacks against non-hero units grant 1 energy; vs hero units grant 2 energy; skills grant 3× energy. Every 30 Energy, she forms one Bone Shard, up to a cap (25 shards) Whenever she uses a basic attack, all Bone Shards fly to the target, each dealing extra physical damage (calculated as a percentage of her total physical attack) and inheriting a portion of on-hit effects. Skill 1: Abyssal Bone Needle Fires a bone needle in a direction, dealing physical damage in an AOE / line. The first enemy hero hit will also trigger Return to Bone (i.e. grant Bone Energy) Has a relatively low cooldown that scales down as leveled Skill 2: Phantom Shadowmeld Obsidia disappears (melds) into the Abyss, gaining a large movement speed buff for a short duration (0.3s base) During her Ultimate (Hunt of Bone), this skill is enhanced: longer duration, shorter cooldown Ultimate: Hunt of Bone Fires "Bones of Wrath" in a target direction. The first enemy hero hit is stunned and tethered. Obsidia is pulled toward them. While tethered, the enemy cannot use displacement skills (blink/dash/knockback), and Obsidia's movement is constrained (cannot move more than a certain distance away) During this tether time (~3 s), Obsidia can move through obstacles (walls) and still use basic attacks while moving. She gains 5 temporary Bone Shards upon activation of the ultimate. Also, while the ultimate is active, her Skill 2 (Shadowmeld) is buffed: increased duration, reduced cooldown (about 33% CD reduction)

Strengths

High Single-Target Burst / Finisher: Once her Bone Shards are stacked, her basic attacks can deal heavy damage, making her excellent at bursting down squishy heroes. Mobility and Gap Closing: Her ultimate allows her to pull herself to targets, bypass obstacles, and keep up in fights. Anti-Mobility Counter: Her tether disables displacement skills, which is especially strong vs heroes relying on blinks and dashes. Strong Late Game Scaling: As she builds items and gets shards, her damage scales significantly.

Weaknesses

Weak Early Game: Before accumulating shards and items, her damage and survivability are low. Reliant on Passive Stacking: If she fails to build shards (due to dying, being zoned, or CC), her damage falls off. Fragile / Low Durability: She has low base defenses (durability rating 2/10) Risky Ultimate: If you mis-use the tether, you might pull yourself into danger or overcommit.

MARKSMAN BUILD

Here is a commonly recommended build path for Obsidia to maximize damage, survivability, and effectiveness: Core / Standard Build (Adapt as needed) 1. Swift Boots: for attack speed and mobility 2. Windtalker: attack speed, crit chance, extra magic damage on wave clear, synergy with multi hit mechanics 3. Berserker's Fury: amplifies critical damage, helps her kill faster 4. Demon Hunter Sword: good for shredding high HP targets and tanks with its % HP damage 5. Haas' Claws: lifesteal to sustain in fights, especially with multi hit from shards 6. Rose Gold Meteor: provides shield and magic resistance, helpful against burst magic damage Situational / Alternative Items: Malefic Gun / Malefic Roar — to increase physical penetration vs tanky opponents. Immortality — gives a second life, useful in late game when being hunted. Sea Halberd — to counter healing effects. Corrosion Scythe — if you need slows / more control with attacks. When building, prioritize items that boost her attack speed, crit, and survivability.

MARKSMAN EMBLEM SET

Marksman Emblem is the best fit for Obsidia. Suggested Talent Choices: Tier 1: Swift (attack speed increase) Tier 2: Magic Shop / Weapon Master (to reduce item cost or boost damage) Tier 3: Weakness Finder (slow effect on enemies hit) You can also use Penetration talents if facing heavy tank comps.

Battle Spell

Flicker gives Obsidia a short blink in any direction, which greatly enhances her flexibility in engagements. You can use it: 1. Immediately after casting Hunt of Bone to reposition or surprise a flank. 2. To dodge incoming skillshots or escape when the tether is about to expire. 3. To close the small gap or prevent being too far from your target after tether ends. Because Obsidia's ultimate ties her to the enemy, Flicker provides the extra spatial control she often needs to avoid overextending or being targeted by enemies. It also gives her a fallback if the tether drags her toward danger. (Other spells like Purify or Vengeance are viable situationally, but Flicker offers the best utility overall for her playstyle.)

QUICK TIPS

Always try to farm and accumulate Bone Shards early on; your power is tied to how many shards you have. Use Skill 1 to poke and proc passive, slowly stacking shards. Don't overextend before you have enough damage and defenses. Use Ultimate to lock down and eliminate high-priority targets (mages, marksmen). During tether, you can move through terrain—use it to flank or surprise. Monitor your distance: tether forces a limit—don't get dragged into enemy frontline by mistake.

STRATEGIES BY GAME PHASE

Early Game Focus on farming minions and building up your shard count. Harass opposing laners with Skill 1 safely; avoid risky trades. Stay close to your support or tank to mitigate early harassment. Ping for help or rotations if enemy jungler comes. Mid Game Begin to roam with your team, look for picks. Use Ultimate on isolated enemies or those trying to escape. Keep shards topped up before fights. Try to force fights around objectives (Turtle, turrets) when you have power spikes. Late Game You become a hypercarry / finisher. Stay safe in backline until enemy is weakened, then burst with combinations. Use Ultimate to tether high-mobility threats and prevent escape. Don't get caught; use your movement (enhanced Skill 2 during ult) cleverly. Focus on clean-up or picking off remaining enemies after team engages.

Best With Tigreal

They can initiate, lock enemies in place, letting Obsidia follow up with her damage.

Watch Out For Saber

They can kill her before she stacks shards or before she uses ultimate safely.
