Overview

Obsidia, the Sovereign of Dark's End, is the newest Marksman hero in Mobile Legends. She generates Bone Shards through her attacks and abilities, which greatly amplify her basic attacks once charged. Her playstyle revolves around poking enemies, stacking shards, and then bursting them down during crucial moments.

Strengths

Scales very strongly in late game: Once her Bone Shards are maxed or built up, her basic attacks deal significantly more damage via the shard volleys. Good at locking down mobile heroes: Her ultimate tethers an enemy and disables their displacement or dash skills. High mobility / repositioning: Her second skill allows quick movement / repositioning, especially when enhanced under ultimate. Poke & burst hybrid: She can poke with her skill(s) while accumulating shards and then burst down priority targets.

Weaknesses

Weak early game: Before accumulating Bone Shards and core items, her damage is relatively low and she's fragile. Item dependent / stacking reliant: Her power heavily depends on building damage, attack speed, and managing shard stacks. Risky ultimate usage: If you use her ultimate on the wrong target (e.g. tank or someone with heavy burst) or in bad positioning, you may drag yourself into danger. Vulnerable to crowd control / burst: Without proper protection or positioning, she can be shut down by CC / burst before she builds up. Shard loss on death: If she dies while holding many Bone Shards, she loses a portion of them, which penalizes overextension.

Burst

Why These Items for Obsidia 1. Swift Boots - Gives attack speed so she can stack Bone Shards faster. 2. Windtalker - Boosts attack speed and crit, perfect for her shard damage. 3. Berserker's Fury - Increases critical damage to burst enemies quickly. 4. Demon Hunter Sword - Shreds tanky or high-HP enemies. 5. Haas' Claws - Lifesteal keeps her alive in fights. 6. Rose Gold Meteor - Extra shield for survival when her HP is low. ** Situational ** ✓ Sea Halberd -> counters heroes with strong healing. ✓ Immortality -> gives a second life in late game. ✓ Corrosion Scythe -> slows enemies so they can't escape.

Late Game Core

*** Why Marksman Emblem for Obsidia *** ✓ Gives attack speed, crit chance, and damage -> perfect for boosting her shard attacks. ✓ Helps her farm faster and reach power spike earlier. ✓ Increases her late-game carry potential since she relies on basic attacks. *** Best Talent Choices *** Swift -> more attack speed, builds shards faster. Weakness Finder -> chance to slow enemies. Discount (Magic Shop) -> lets her buy core items quicker.

Battle Spell

Why Use Flicker on Obsidia Obsidia is a marksman with low durability, so Flicker gives her an emergency escape option when enemies dive on her. It helps her reposition in team fights to maintain safe distance while still attacking. Works well with her Ultimate (Hunt of Bone) to surprise enemies or keep them within tether range. --- ** Techniques & Tips for Flicker ** *** Escape Tool *** If assassins (like Hayabusa or Saber) dive on you, Flicker instantly creates space so you can survive and continue kiting. *** Ultimate Combo *** Cast your Ultimate, then Flicker right after to extend the tether range. This catches enemies who thought they were safe and keeps them locked. *** Wall Trick *** Flicker can go through walls. Use it to escape when chased or to surprise enemies by jumping over terrain during fights. *** Aggressive Finish *** if an enemy is low HP and tries to run, Flicker forward and finish them with enhanced basic attacks and shards. *** Teamfight Safety *** Always keep Flicker ready before a big fight. Don't waste it randomly; save it for either escaping CC/burst or securing kills with ultimate.

Dominate phase

Domination Phase (Late Game) Once Obsidia has 3-4 core items, she becomes very strong. Focus on farming safely until this point, then join fights to dominate with shard damage. Always play with your team -- Obsidia shines most in 5v5 fights where she can free-hit. *** Positioning Tips *** ✓ Stay behind your tanks/fighters so they take the damage first. ✓ Use bushes to surprise enemies and build shards safely. ✓ Never go alone -- assassins can easily burst you. ✓ Keep distance while attacking; Obsidia deals damage best when she's safe in the backline. *** Team Fight Tips *** 1. Start with poke -- use Skill 1 to chip enemy HP. 2. Wait for CC -- let your tank/roamer lock enemies first. 3. Ultimate + Flicker -- tether key targets (marksman/mage/assassin). 4. Free-hit safely -- spam basic attacks with shards while moving. 5. Target Priority -- focus on enemy damage dealers, not tanks.

Best With Jawhead

Jawhead ✓ Why: Jawhead's Ejector (Skill 2) can throw enemies right into Obsidia's damage range, creating a guaranteed pick-off. Tip: Coordinate with Jawhead to throw priority targets (mages/marksmen) into Obsidia's combo. This is deadly in high-rank plays where positioning is precise. Role in Teamfight: Jawhead sets up easy assassinations, letting Obsidia shine as the main burst damage dealer.

Watch Out For Khufra

Khufra ✓ Why: His Bouncing Ball (Skill 2) and Tyrant's Rage (Ultimate) can completely stop Obsidia's dash and combo. High-rank players know to time their CC perfectly to punish her engage. Tip: Use his crowd control to intercept her when she jumps in, then coordinate with your team to burst her down.
