
Overview
Never gets picked, never gets banned. You get to play it all the time and good mix of DMG and sustain: if your team really sucks, you may have 50% of damage and damage taken each
Strengths
Be egoistic to some degree. Don't engage in lvl 2-3 combats. You don't provide much. Use the empty lane, get the extra gold, level fast. You are not the early dominator, you shine later and punish cocky players. Many will understand that they are stronger than you and get impatient and will dive. With S2 you can hold them in tower, with S1 escape and deal DMG. I've turned many bad lanes into winning lanes because enemies get too cocky and impatient and feed
Weaknesses
Can be bursted, especially early in the game and can be punished by players that are actually good and make you lose the lane hard.
Exp alice
The items are a mix of HP, (magic DMG) resistance and then magic damage and spell lifesteal. You want to be able to tank 3+ enemies, so you won't max spell DMG.

Battle Spell
It takes some experience to figure out when you won't die straight away, but if you laned well, you should be fine jumping into 5 people with ult on (best before jumping) and Vengeance once you reach lvl8. Even if you die, if you can survive 3-5 seconds and bind the enemy team, your team should be able to clean up.
Alice
Most people don't play Alice and have barely played against her. This is your advantage. If there are burst champs, try to wait out their burst and then jump into the whole team (with your team behind). The life steal is strong and with Vengeance you get tanky and increase the damage output.

His ultimate can stop Alice's escape and engage, making her vulnerable.
