Obsidia is a Marksmen hero that can deal great damage but is also easily killed, so she needs nota only to play careful but a team that can help her get better in game. obsidia's early game is really weak and her Farm is bad without her passive stacked. You should poke your enemy with your First skill and kill them too with It.

Start of the game
In the start of the game she needs to focus on poking her enemy to gain stacks or even try dealling some damage without getting killed by It, along with farming her Minions. She must get kills to obtain stacks. Kill and enemy with her First skill to obtain a bonus Stack.
Mid phase of the game
She should start having some damage by now so confronting her oponent in Lane won't be a problem. She could also rotate to the midlane if the mages dies or the Minions are being wasted, even trying to get some Gold from the turret or getting It down. In teamfights she should focus on the most possible kills or in focusing weak enemies.
Late game or close to the end part of the game
As we get close to closing her build and getting Full stacks she should now start prioritazing killing essencial enemies and pushing, along with surviving and participating in teamfights as the main damage.
