Granger's best Items
Item explanations : - Warrior Boots for extra physical defence against your oppositions. Use Tough Boots if enemies have high CC - Hunter Strike is a must for Granger. The item's passive, retrebution is really usefull because of the extra movement speed. Also, prioritize Fury Hammer first after buying Boots in early stage of the game - Sky Piercer for securing kills, more kills equals to more stacks. More stacks equals to easier game - Melefic Roar as usual for penetration, deal decent damage to tanky heroes - Blade of Despair because of its high extra physical attack - Sea Halbert for countering high heal, hield, life steal and spell vamp of enemies Tips : - After purchasing normal Boots, prioritize Fury Hammer, which is a good early game item. Ten you can finish up Hunter Strike. - Continue with Warrior Boots and Sky Piercer. Once sky piercer are built, its easier for you to gain kills, even in 1v1 situation. - Try to buy Melefic Roar as quickly as you can after that. So, farm more - Finish up the rest (BoD and SH). - Change your boots in late game with Immortality, Winter Crown, Wnd of Nature or Gold Rose Meteor, based on your current situation. This is a really advance skill, so practices makes perfect. - Always lead in terms of gold against your opponents. In other words, be the most fed person in the battlefield.
Granger's
Assassins emblem because of high damage, adaptive penetration and extra movement speed. - Thrill for extra adaptive attack - Festival of Blood since Granger is a skill spamer type of marksman - Impure Rage for extra damage based on enemies max HP. Also small HP recovery for better laning experience
Battle Spell
With Granger lacks of mobility skills, flicker is the best option. Purify are situational.
Early Game and Laning Phase
I early game, freeze your lane first, enemy surely will try to gain gold from your minions. There is where you can start poking them using ultimate or first skill, enemy will ended up low, theres where you can fully engage to finish them off. When turtle is on your opposite lane, instantly clear your lane and start to rotate to mid using the river speed boost. Don't forget to clear the mid too as they give you a lot of gold and stacks. Try to win the turtle fight with your team, once the objective is secure, rotate back to your lane using the river speed boost, then repeat till mid game.
Mid Game and Rotations
In mid game, at this rate, the enemy outer turret suppossed to destroyed. This way, you can rotate more to scure more kills using sky piercer. Remeber, more kill equals to more stacks, more stacks equals to easy fight. Don't you abonden your lane too, gain more gold to be fed then the gold lane. Push when theres a chance.
Late Game and Team Fight
On late game, use you extra gold to buy Immortal when in team fight. Switch it by selling your boots. In this way, you can also switch more item after Immortal, such as Wind of Nature, Wnter Crown and Rose Gold Meteor. Use your ultimate to poke enemy squishy heroes like their marksman or mage to scare them off from teamfight. Try to wipe the whole enemy out, in that way you can easily destroy the enemy base. Remember, Granger is not like any marksman, his pushing ability is low. Granger is fell off in late stage of the late game because of enemy now are in full items. Thats why end the game quick.
Best With Badang
Just like most "5 man set up roamers", Badang is a good combination with Ganger. Badang's second skill plus his chain cc is perfe t for Granger ultimate to hit. Other heroes : Tigreal, Khufra and Grock
Watch Out For Layla
Marksman like Layla that have really low mobility is really bad against Granger because of his poking ability. Make sure to hit every skills. Other heroes : Hanabi and Lesley
