Critical Burst Build

🤞🏿

Swift to ease her lake of attack speed in the early game Bargain hunter to get her core item faster Weakness finder to reduces enemy movement and attack speeds, preventing targets from escaping her ultimate.

Battle Spell

compensate for her lack of map-crossing mobility. Or Take Purify if Enemy team has heavy crowd control or lockdown compositions

Early Game - Shard Farming

Focus entirely on clearing minion waves safely. Line up Skill 1 (Abyssal Bone Needle) to pierce all three lane minions at once to build your Bone Energy bar rapidly. Avoid any aggressive early trades or 1v1 fights, as Obsidia is highly dependent on items to deal meaningful damage. Keep an eye on the river brush and preserve Skill 2 for emergency repositioning if the enemy mid-laner or jungler attempts a rotation gank.

Mid Game - Skirmish & Tether

Once you secure your core attack speed items, look for opportunities to punish high-mobility targets. Use Skill 1 to poke from afar, then use your Ultimate (Hunt of Bone) to anchor agile enemy carries or assassins. This locks down their blinks and dashes entirely. During the ultimate, spam your Skill 2 (which drops to a 1-second cooldown) to freely pass through jungle walls and dodge incoming skills while blasting them with basic attacks.

Late Game - Backline Extermination

Position yourself safely behind your primary tank or initiator during high-stakes lord fights. Let the front liners absorb heavy crowd control abilities first. Never open with your ultimate on tanky heroes or anyone using Vengeance/Blade Armor, as your bone shards will reflect and ******** instantly. Instead, target fragile enemy mages and marksmen, letting your fully stacked shards melt them from maximum distance.

Best With Tigreal

Obsidia pairs exceptionally well with heavy crowd control initiators or defensive supports. Grouping tanks allow her Skill 1 to hit multiple heroes simultaneously to rapidly build her maximum Bone Shard stacks. Additionally, because her Ultimate pulls her directly into close combat with the target, protective supports who provide shields or healing ensure she survives her aggressive dive execution windows.

Watch Out For Lancelot

Obsidia acts as a hard counter against heroes who rely heavily on dashes and blinks to navigate combat. When her Ultimate (Hunt of Bone) successfully tethers an enemy, it completely disables all of their displacement and escape abilities for 3 seconds. This leaves high-mobility assassins and fighters completely stranded, giving her ample time to position safely and shred them down.
