Overview
Hanabi, the Scarlet Flower, is a late game insurance marksman from the Scarlet Shadow faction. Unlike others marksmen who focus on single target elimination, Hanabi excels at dealing massive, continuous AoE damage. Her core identity revolves around her bouncing basic attacks, making her a nightmare for enemy compositions that cluster together during teamfights. While she requires patience to scale, a fully itemized Hanabi can single handedly wipe out an entire enemy team from a safe position in the late game. Hanabi should play defensively under the tower in the early game, farm safely, and activate her Skill 1 before entering teamfights to maximize her shield and CC immunity.
Strengths
Exceptional bounce damage, CC Immunity, lane cleared and high ground defense, team fight control
Weaknesses
No blink/escape skills, weak early game, shield dependent durability, items dependent, afraid of burst damage
Tank killer
In the current meta, where utility tanks, durable supports, and heavy crowd control (CC) compositions are highly prevalent, Hanabi has secured a solid place in the Gold Lane. The popularity of the Trinity Build (Demon Hunter Sword, Golden Staff, Corrosion Scythe, and Sea Halberd) further enhances her effectiveness.

Battle Spell
Aegis is the best Battle Spell for Hanabi because it helps her survive crowd control and burst damage.
Battle Stages Playbook
In the early game, Hanabi is relatively weak and highly vulnerable. Your primary objective is to survive and farm safely. Strategy: Stay near or under your outer turret. Do not overextend to poke the enemy unless their roamer is spotted elsewhere on the map. Use your Skill 2 (Soul Scroll) from a distance to secure last hits on minions. Key Goal: Avoid dying at all costs. Give up outer turret gold plates if the enemy jungler and roamer are diving your lane. Your time to shine has not yet arrived. Mid Game: Once you acquire your first two core items (usually Corrosion Scythe and Demon Hunter Sword), your damage starts to become noticeable. Start rotating to nearby lanes, but never travel through the river alone; always follow your Tank or Roamer. When contesting the Turtle or mid-lane towers, position yourself behind your front line. Use your Ultimate (Higanbana) during teamfights to lock down grouped up enemies. Clear minion waves quickly to push towers whenever the enemy team is distracted on the opposite side of the map. Late Game: This is where Hanabi turns into a true monster. With a full item build, you are the team's primary win condition. Never walk into unrevealed bushes. In teamfights, wait for the enemy assassins or burst mages to waste their deadly skills on your teammates before you step in. Activate Skill 1 (Equinox) immediately as the fight begins to maintain your CC immunity shield. Stand at a safe maximum range and continuously spam your basic attacks with Inspire. Let your Petal Barrage passive do the work, bouncing through the frontline to melt the enemy's squishy backline automatically
Best With Tigreal
Hanabi needs enemies to be clustered together to maximize her bouncing passive. Tanks with massive AoE CC setups like Tigreal or Atlas can pull all 5 enemies into one spot. A well timed Hanabi Ultimate (Higanbana) followed by Inspire into a grouped enemy team results in an instant Wipe out.
Watch Out For Brody
In the laning phase, Brody deal heavy single target burst damage. They can pop Hanabi's Equinox shield in one hit from a safe distance, removing her CC immunity and leaving her open to easy ganks
