Overview

Kagura is a high-burst Mage hero who wields the Seimei Umbrella to manipulate the battlefield. She plays primarily as a Mid Laner, focusing on clearing minion waves quickly before roaming to help side lanes. Unlike standard mages, Kagura has an incredibly versatile kit with 6 active skills, allowing her to poke from long range, escape deadly crowd control (CC), and dive into the backline to eliminate enemy marksmen or mages instantly. Her farming route is straightforward: prioritize Mid lane minions, secure the lithowanderer with the jungler, and constantly rotate to gank top or bottom lane

Strengths

Strong Early to Mid Game: Once Kagura reaches level 4 and gets her core items, her kill pressure increases significantly, allowing her to dominate team fights.

Weaknesses

Weak Against Tanky/High Sustain Lineups: Kagura excels at bursting low-HP targets. If the enemy team has a very tanky composition (e.g., tank jungler, tanky exp laner), she struggles to secure solo kills.

susstainable

This build is designed to maximize Kagura's Magic Penetration and continuous magic burn, allowing her to shred through both squishy targets and tanky heroes. It focuses on reducing the enemy's Magic Defense to zero while giving Kagura high scaling damage and late-game survivability.

Mid Game Dominance

This Mage Emblem setup is highly optimized to maximize Kagura's early-game pressure and burst potential. By focusing on Magic Penetration and item discounts, Kagura can reach her power spikes much faster and scale aggressively into the mid-game.

Battle Spell

Flameshot is the best Battle Spell for Kagura to maximize her burst damage and secure long-range kills. Since Kagura can easily burst down squishy targets but sometimes leaves them with a sliver of health, Flameshot acts as a perfect finisher to execute fleeing enemies.

Mid Game Dominance

During the Mid Game phase, Kagura reaches her biggest power spike after securing her core magic penetration items. Your main goal is to clear the Mid lane minion wave as fast as possible and immediately look for ganking opportunities in the side lanes.

Best With Atlas

Atlas is a perfect match for Kagura because of his incredible crowd control capabilities. When Atlas uses his Ultimate (Fatal Links) to pull and group up multiple enemies together, it creates the ultimate setup for Kagura. She can immediately throw her umbrella into the clustered enemies and unleash her full burst combo (Skill 1 -> Ultimate -> Skill 2 -> Ultimate), dealing massive area-of-effect (AoE) damage and instantly wiping out the enemy team.

Watch Out For Carmilla

Carmilla is an evenly matched counter to Kagura. Her Ultimate (Curse of Blood) links enemies together, sharing damage and crowd control effects among them. If Kagura gets caught in Carmilla's link along with her teammates, any burst damage or heavy CC directed at her team will also heavily hurt and cripple Kagura, neutralizing her high mobility. However, if Kagura plays patiently, she can easily use her safe, long-range umbrella pokes to lower Carmilla's health from a distance without getting close enough to be targeted by Carmilla's skill set.
