Overview
Minotaur is a Tank/Support hero who excels at initiating team fights and protecting allies. He provides strong crowd control, healing, and durability, making him one of the best frontliners in the game. His abilities allow him to disrupt enemy formations and create opportunities for his team to secure objectives and victories.
Strengths
Excellent crowd control with knock-ups and stuns. Very durable and difficult to eliminate in team fights. Provides healing and sustain for teammates. Strong initiator capable of starting favorable engagements. Effective in both defensive and offensive team compositions. Remains useful throughout all stages of the game.
Weaknesses
Limited mobility compared to other tanks. Relies heavily on proper timing and positioning. Can be kited by highly mobile heroes. Vulnerable when crowd control abilities are on cooldown. Requires teamwork to maximize his effectiveness. Anti-heal and true damage heroes can reduce his impact in fights.
Sustain and healing
The item really depends on the enemies team composition so I suggest to learn the items, read description wisely!
CD & HEAL
I chose the Support Emblem for Minotaur because he relies heavily on his crowd control and healing abilities. This emblem setup provides cooldown reduction, allowing him to use his skills more frequently during team fights. It also enhances his healing effectiveness, helping him sustain both himself and his teammates. With the Support Emblem, Minotaur can consistently provide utility, initiate fights more often, and keep his allies healthy throughout the game.
Battle Spell
You can choose Flicker as your battle spell for better engage and surprise initiations. However, I personally prefer Revitalize. Not only does it provide additional sustain for Minotaur, but it also greatly helps during team fights by keeping both you and your teammates alive.
Level 4
I can say that getting your Ult as soon as possible helps a lot in early stage of the game. So please maximize the roam passive!
