Overview
Lancelot is a highly mobile Assassin who excels at eliminating enemy backline heroes. With his exceptional dash mechanics and invincibility frames, he can quickly enter and exit battles while dealing massive burst damage. Lancelot is most commonly played as a Jungler and is capable of snowballing the game when given an early advantage.
Strengths
Lancelot has outstanding mobility, allowing him to dodge enemy skills and reposition easily during fights. His burst damage is extremely high against squishy targets, and his skill resets enable continuous aggression. Thanks to the invincibility provided by his skills, he can outplay opponents and survive dangerous situations that would eliminate most Assassins. He is particularly effective at picking off enemy Marksmen and Mages in the mid and late game.
Weaknesses
Lancelot requires strong mechanical skills and precise timing to be effective. Missing his skill combinations can significantly reduce his damage and mobility. He also struggles against heroes with heavy crowd control and heroes that can restrict his movement. When falling behind in gold and experience, Lancelot may find it difficult to secure kills and impact team fights consistently.
Sustain burst jungle Lancelot
This build provides a balance between burst damage, durability, and mobility, allowing Lancelot to eliminate priority targets while surviving longer in team fights. War Axe increases physical attack and sustained damage during extended battles, while Endless Battle synergizes perfectly with Lancelot's skill-based playstyle by providing additional true damage after casting skills. Malefic Roar helps penetrate high-defense targets in the late game, ensuring consistent damage against tanks and fighters. Brute Force Breastplate grants extra durability and movement speed, making it easier for Lancelot to engage and disengage. Queen's Wings further improves survivability by reducing damage taken when HP is low, allowing him to outplay opponents in critical situations. This build is effective for both snowballing and late-game team fights. THE KEY: endless battle because Endless Battle is the core item of this build because its passive effect deals extra true damage after using skills. Since Lancelot frequently casts abilities between attacks, he can maximize the item's damage output and burst potential.
Assasin emblem
I choose the Assassin Emblem because it perfectly matches Lancelot's burst assassin playstyle. The additional penetration increases his damage against enemy backline heroes, while Master Assassin provides extra damage when targeting isolated enemies. Killing Spree allows Lancelot to recover HP and gain Movement Speed after securing a kill, helping him escape dangerous situations or continue chasing other targets. This emblem setup maximizes Lancelot's assassination potential and snowball capability throughout the match.
Battle Spell
I choose Retribution because it is essential for Lancelot's jungle role. It increases farming speed, helps secure Turtle and Lord, and allows Lancelot to reach his power spike faster. A useful tip is to save Retribution for major objectives and use Skill 1 resets through creeps or minions before engaging enemies for maximum mobility and burst damage.
Mid Game Power Spike
Lancelot reaches his strongest point during the mid game after obtaining his core items. His high mobility and burst damage allow him to pick off enemy carries, secure Turtle objectives, and control the pace of the match. Proper rotations and target selection can help him snowball the game and create a significant advantage for his team.
Best With Mathilda
Mathilda works exceptionally well with Lancelot by providing additional mobility, protection, and initiation opportunities. Her Guiding Wind helps Lancelot reposition safely, while her crowd control makes it easier for him to land his skill combinations. Together, they can quickly eliminate enemy backline heroes and create strong pick-off potential throughout the game.
Watch Out For Khufra
Khufra is one of the strongest counters to Lancelot because his crowd control abilities can interrupt Lancelot's mobility. Bouncing Ball prevents Lancelot from freely using his dash skills, making it difficult for him to engage or escape. A well-timed initiation from Khufra can significantly reduce Lancelot's impact during team fights.
