Overview
As for in SoloQ, she doesn't really shines because you will always meet new players on the queue and that being said you cannot assume that everyone has the same chemistry as you. I usually build burst with a lot of CD (considering some of the damage items has cooldown attributes like Wishing Lantern or Lightning Truncheon). But, it is also situational since you are very squishy and best build when your core is tanky like Akai or Fredrinn. My personal build is Arcane Boots, Glowing Wand, Lightning Truncheon, Wishing Lantern, Brute Force and Blood WIngs.
Strengths
She is very strong in teamfights with GOOD positioning. Unlike, any other mages, she must be in good position in order to execute Real World Manipulation. And, she can turns a 5v5 in your favor. And, she has shields too which is great :D But, if there's Esmeralda, don't build Blood WIngs, instead go for other tank items like Clock of Destiny. Last but not least, spammable first skill which has crazy low CD which makes her strength in poking and kiting ability. TL;DR Yve is a good mage in poking and kiting abilty.
Weaknesses
Mobility. Though first skills provides brief extra movement speed, but that is still not enough. But, that's understandable, because if she were to have dash, she would be too OP. And also, she needs to be played in 5 Man setup with good chemistry among members in order to have a guaranteed win.
Burst + Sustain + CD Red.
The build name tells it all. Some of the damage items, fortunately has CD reduction attributes to it, so that benefits our mommy.
Sigma Yve
Inspire for CD reduction. Bargain Hunter so you get your first crucial items fast. It's a good sign if you got your Glowing Wand under 4 minutes mark. Impure Rage as in description :) She is hungry for mana if you don't build the mana boots so this is quite important since we are building Arcane Boots on her.
Battle Spell
She has no mobility, hence why Flicker is the best. Also, Sprint can be build on her too as long if and only if the enemy doesn't have jumpscare heroes :o (EUDORA, SABER, HARLEY)
Early to Mid.
She needs to support her jungler early to mid in order to win the games.
Best With Atlas
She needs a setup roamer like Atlas, Carmilla and Tigreal to maximizes her ultimate.
Watch Out For Zetian
Both of them has strong poking abilty.
