Marcel, the "Soul Photographer," is a Support/Tank hybrid hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Wielding his sentient camera, Clemar, he specializes in total battlefield control by freezing time, pausing projectiles, and mitigating enemy momentum. He belongs to the noble House Paxley, making him a distant cousin to Aamon and Gusion.
Strengths
Marcel is a top-tier Utility Support and Counter-Engage Tank. His main power comes from his unmatched ability to disrupt aggressive enemy line-ups and control the tempo of team fights.
Weaknesses
Marcel suffers against highly mobile skirmishers and true damage dealers. Because his abilities rely on static zones and HP scaling, smart enemies can easily outplay his kit.
Zone and Sustainability
This equipment setup is a highly specialized True Damage & Speed Scaling build that perfectly exploits Marcel's unique mechanics. By combining high defense with basic-attack-triggered items, you maximize his passive, maintain relentless map pressure, and turn him into a deceptively high-damage tank.
Map Control
The emblem setup I selected centers entirely around maximizing Marcel's crowd control uptime, survivability, and extreme movement speed. By pairing the Support Emblem base with Agility, Wilderness Blessing, and Quantum Charge, you have built a high-mobility macro setup designed to let Marcel dominate map rotations and stick to targets.
Battle Spell
While Flicker remains the most popular battle spell for high-tier initiation, Sprint is a highly effective alternative battle spell that maximizes Marcel's unique movement mechanics, crowd control uptime, and map-wide utility.
Objective Security
Marcel is a master at zoning during neutral objective fights. Your main job is not to hit the Lord or Turtle, but to completely freeze out the enemy team's setup.
Retribution-Counter Freeze
When the Turtle or Lord's health drops near the Retribution threshold, cast your Ultimate (Golden Hour) directly over the objective zone.
High Bush Checking
Use the immense speed boost from Skill 2 (Tracking Shot) combined with your Sprint/Flicker spell to scout the surrounding river bushes before your team pulls the objective. If you spot an ambush, immediately drop Skill 1 (Framed Moment) to anchor Clemar in the bush. This slows and immobilizes scouting enemies before they can approach your team.
Best With Kimmy
Marcel and Kimmy have perfect synergy because Kimmy can freely attack while moving, allowing her to stay safely outside Marcel's Ultimate (Golden Hour) zone. When Marcel drops his Ultimate to freeze a group of enemies, Kimmy can set up her long-range continuous spray or fire her Maximum Charge rocket at the edge of the zone. The moment Marcel's freeze ends and the enemies are clustered together, Kimmy's sustained AoE damage melts them instantly before they can scatter or retaliate.
Watch Out For Harley
Marcel holds a massive advantage over Harley because his kit directly neutralizes Harley's primary single-target burst combo. When Harley uses Space Escape to dive in and casts his Deadly Magic ring onto a target, Marcel can immediately drop his Ultimate (Golden Hour) over the cursed ally. This freezes time, pausing the countdown of Harley's ultimate ring and completely floating Harley's incoming Poker Trick cards mid-air. By the time the freeze ends, Harley's skill duration is wasted, leaving him entirely vulnerable with no burst damage left.
