Want to be the toughest Leonin you can ever be? This tutorial is for you.

Overview

Aulus is a male Leonin character who recently underwent a major rework, but don't underestimate him, or you'll face the wrath of his axe. Aulus can be a good choice for the Exp or Jungler lane, but my personal preference would be Jungler. With his leadership, control immunity, and increased movement speed, Aulus will undoubtedly ignite team fights.

Strengths

Aulus, also known as Mad Axe, is a small but impactful character who gains attack speed and damage as he deals damage. If you enjoy staying on your feet in team fights and forcing the enemy team to flee, Aulus is perfect for you. With his ultimate, Aulus can penetrate the enemy lines, dealing high area damage, and with the control immunity from his first ability, he can easily break through enemy lines and inflict high damage. But be careful, Aulus is a damage dealer, not a finisher, so your team support is crucial. Aulus, along with a slowing mage and a roaming support teammate, will form an invincible team.

Weaknesses

Although Aulus may seem invincible and powerful, like every character, he has weaknesses. Aulus is a warrior, and he possesses a common weakness of all warriors: slowing and control effects. Heroes with heavy control abilities, like Kaja, Yve, and Grock, can corner Aulus and make him meow like a cat. Therefore, Aulus should not travel alone and should have at least a mage or a support with him.

Jungle Equipment Recommondation.

The first thing you should pay attention to is your Retribution choice: Flame Retribution. Using Retribution on the enemy jungler in team fights will be to your advantage as it will provide damage. After that, the most important thing is item build, which will depend on the heroes the opposing team has chosen. Tough Boots provide resistance against enemy control effects, but if the enemy has very high physical damage than control or magic damage, Warrior Boots can be az grrat choice. The first item, War Axe, is a must-have and Aulus's core item; it has a Nescafe 3-in-1 feature, and I strongly recommend building it as the first item. The rest are carefully chosen to keep Aulus alive and prevent him from being taken down early. If the enemy has heroes with high lifesteal, you can move Sea Halberd a few items ahead, or if the enemy has heroes with high escape capacity but a few little control effects that doesn't yoo much effect on your movement speed, taking Corrosion Scythe as the first item would be a logical choice.

Warrior Emblem with Extra Damage Support

Choosing the Warrior emblem is the most logical choice for both the jungle and experience lanes, as the durability and damage stats it provides will give Aulus an advantage in both 1v1 and team fights. However, in the jungle, you can change the third emblem core depending on the enemy formation. The most logical choice is War Cry Aulus for damage support in team fights, but if there are enemies with slowing effects or escape capabilities, Quantum Charge can also be considered as an option. Or, if you want to stay alive and not die easily, you can use Killing Spree to gain health regeneration and movement speed, making you less likely to be easily knocked down in team fights.

Battle Spell

As I said, Retribution is my personal preference because Aulus's damage and speed allow him to quickly clear the jungle and perform maneuvers. However, if you want to play in the experience lane, Vengeance or Execute would be the most logical choices I can recommend. Although Aulus seems to deal immense damage with his attacks, his lifesteal will keep him afloat, and since attack speed builds won't be effective, Inspire will be unnecessary.

Jungle Technique First Form : Rotation

If Aulus wants to finish the game quickly, he should rotate his champion to the marksman lane. To do this, he should start by killing the Red Buff. The marksman lane is always on the opposite side of the Red Buff. The Red Buff can be used to kill the Wanderer if the player wants. Then, kill the Blue Buff, followed by a few green jungle monsters, and by minute 1:30, you should be level 4. When your marksman lures the enemy marksman to your side by baiting them, take them down and gain the upper hand. Remember that the enemy jungler might also come to the marksman lane, and before entering their jungle, check the leaderboard to see if the enemy jungler's level is level 4. If it's level 4, they're likely ambushing somewhere; if not, they're still trying to jungle. If you prevent them from reaching level 4 by attacking their jungle, congratulations, you've gained the upper hand, and your marksman has gained the upper hand. Don't miss the turtles and support your marksman repeatedly to quickly shape the game. Or, if you want to create a dominant and controlling game, you can rotate your champion towards the experience lane, preventing the enemy from even taking the jungle and forcing them to give up. Have fun!

Best With Estes

With the help of Estes'es holy heal, Aulus not gonna stand down and watch the enemy attack but counterattack them without taken down by enemy.

Watch Out For Kaja

Kaja's ultimate can take aulus directly to middle of their team. And wipeout Aulus easily.
