Overview
Aulus revamp skill overview. Passive Stacking without Targets: Skill 1 now allows Aulus to passively accumulate [Fighting Spirit] stacks without needing to hit enemies. This allows him to enter fights with nearly full stacks, boosting his attack speed and damage immediately. Built-in Mobility:His Skill 2 can now be recast to perform a dash/jump if the first hit connects with a target. This gives him the gap-closing ability he previously lacked in the early game. Early Control Immunity: Skill 1 removes slows and grants Control Immunity if he avoids strong CC for a short period. This makes him much harder to kite or pin down during early ganks. Percentage-based Damage: His enhanced Basic Attacks (at max stacks) now deal damage based on a portion of the target's Max HP, allowing him to deal decent damage to tankier heroes even before he has many items Ultimate (Undying Fury): Replaced with a multi-strike ability. Aulus swings his axe repeatedly (up to 4 times) for AoE damage, gaining Damage Reduction and movement speed bursts with each swing. The final 5th strike is a massive, high-damage slash with built-in Control Immunity.
Strengths
High Mobility & Pursuit: The addition of a dash/jump on his Skill 2 allows him to chase down mobile enemies or hop over walls, solving his previous struggle with being easily kited. Control Immunity: His Skill 1 now grants Control Immunity if he avoids high-level CC for 2 seconds, and the final strike of his new Ultimate also provides immunity. This makes him a significant threat in team fights where he can no longer be easily pinned down. Early Game Power Spike: He can now build [Fighting Spirit] stacks passively with Skill 1 without hitting a target, allowing him to enter fights with full stacks and immediate damage potential. Consistent AoE Damage: His new Ultimate deals continuous area-of-effect damage, and at max passive stacks, his Basic Attacks are enhanced to deal percentage-based HP damage in a straight line. Objective Control: His built-in CC immunity and high sustain allow him to safely contest the Turtle and Lord even under enemy pressure
Weaknesses
Reduced Scaling & Impact: Many players feel the revamp lacks the "late-game beast" identity of the original. His basic attacks can feel underwhelming compared to other fighters like Alpha or Freya, often requiring multiple items before dealing significant damage. Vulnerability After Immunity: While he gains control immunity during his first skill and ultimate, he is highly vulnerable once those skills are on cooldown. If he cannot finish an engagement during his brief window of CC immunity, he lacks reliable escape tools. Short Melee Range: Despite his new dash, his basic attack range is shorter than the old Aulus, making it easy for ranged heroes to kite him. Lack of Natural Sustain: Unlike heroes like Ruby or Terizla, the revamped Aulus lacks high built-in spell vamp or health recovery, making him heavily dependent on items like War Axe to survive prolonged fights. Susceptible to Suppression: While he has control immunity, he is still vulnerable to Suppression effects from heroes like Kaja, which can lock him down regardless of his skills.
Best for long term fight
Ice Hunter's Tough Boots: Essential for early-game movement and reducing control effects (CC) duration, allowing Aulus to stay mobile. War Axe (Core): The defining item for revamped Aulus. It provides stacking physical attack and spell vamp, dealing True Damage at full stacks. Aulus's revamped kit and skills are designed to quickly build and maintain these stacks. Brute Force Breastplate (Core Defense): Synergizes perfectly with War Axe by granting extra Hybrid Defense, movement speed, and Control Duration Reduction as Aulus deals damage. Malefic Roar: Provides massive Physical Penetration, crucial for shredding through tanky enemies in the late game. Rose Gold Meteor: Offers a balanced mix of offense and defense, specifically providing a shield and extra magic defense when HP drops below a certain point. Queen's Wings: A key late-game sustain item that provides Damage Reduction and cooldown reduction when health is low, allowing Aulus to survive burst damage while he ramps up his power. Now the benefits of the build Maximum Survivability: Queen's Wings and Rose Gold Meteor prevent you from being bursted down, giving you time to reach max stacks and turn the fight. True Damage Scaling: War Axe provides scaling True Damage and Spell Vamp that perfectly matches Aulus's long teamfight style. Anti-Kite & Mobility: Brute Force Breastplate adds movement speed and CC resilience, helping you use your new Skill 2 dash to stay glued to targets. Tank Shredding: Malefic Roar combined with your new Max HP-based damage ensures you can melt both squishies and tanks in the late game. CC Resistance: The build complements his new Skill 1 Control Immunity, making him an unstoppable force once he starts his charge.
For faster AM
Corrosion Scythe: This is your primary "stickiness" item. Its unique passive slows enemies by 8% per basic attack (up to 40%) and increases your attack speed. This prevents enemies from escaping your melee range, which is critical for heroes who rely on landing multiple basic attacks to trigger their passive damage. War Axe: The core of your "melt" potential. It provides physical attack and hybrid lifesteal that increases the longer you stay in combat. At max stacks (8 layers), it grants extra True Damage, making you effective even against high-defense tanks in the late game. Brute Force Breastplate: This item bridges the gap between offense and defense. Every second after dealing damage, you gain movement speed and Adaptive Attack. At full stacks, it provides 15% Resilience (reducing the duration of stuns/CC), making you an "unstoppable force" that is very hard to pin down. Queen's Wings: Often called a "Fighter's God Item," it provides massive survivability when your health drops below 40%. It grants significant Damage Reduction and instantly reduces your skill cooldowns, giving you a chance to turn the tide of a losing fight. Rose Gold Meteor: This is your magic-damage counter and "safety net". It provides a shield and increased movement speed when your HP is low, while also granting Hybrid Defense based on your physical attack. It synergizes perfectly with War Axe and Brute Force to make you incredibly durable.
Best emblem for Aulus revamp
Adaptive Penetration & Attack: The Assassin emblem provides high base physical penetration and attack, which is essential for Aulus to deal significant damage in the early-to-mid game before he gets his core items. Killing Spree Synergy: Revamped Aulus has improved mobility and CC immunity, allowing him to dive deep into enemy backlines. Killing Spree provides an instant 15% HP recovery and 20% Movement Speed boost after every kill, which is vital for his survivability since he often lacks natural sustain compared to other fighters. Snowball Potential: This setup is designed to help Aulus secure a kill and then use the resulting speed and health boost to either escape safely or immediately move to the next target, maintaining his momentum in team fights. Here is the breakdown of my emblem for Aulus successor Tier 1: Rupture Reason: Provides flat Physical Penetration. This is crucial for Aulus in the early to mid-game, allowing him to deal more significant damage to squishy targets and clear jungle camps faster. Tier 2: Season Hunter (Icon indicated in the talent grid) Reason: Increases damage against the Lord, Turtle, and Creeps. Since Aulus is best played as a Jungler to help him reach his late-game power spikes safely, this talent ensures a faster farming speed and better objective control. Tier 3: Killing Spree (Selected talent) Reason: After killing an enemy hero, you instantly recover 15% of Lost HP and gain a 20% Movement Speed boost for 3 seconds. Why it works for Aulus: Aulus often dives deep into team fights. Killing Spree provides him with the necessary sustain and "clutch" healing to stay alive after a kill, plus the speed boost needed to either chase down the next target or escape a dangerous
Second the Best for aulus
Using the Custom Fighter Emblem provides a solid baseline of Physical Attack, Hybrid Defense, and Spell Vamp, which supports his revamped playstyle as a more durable disruptor. Tier 1: Rupture - Essential for early-game impact by providing +5 Physical Penetration to pierce through enemy defenses. Tier 2: Seasoned Hunter (if Jungling) or Festival of Blood (for Exp Lane) - Use Seasoned Hunter to clear jungle creeps faster, or Festival of Blood for increased spell vamp and sustain during trades. Tier 3: War Cry (As selected) - Triggers after dealing damage 3 times to an enemy, perfect for Aulus's stacking passive and multi-hit skills.
Battle Spell
Ice Retribution (Best for Jungle): This is the standard choice for Aulus as a jungler. It helps mitigate his "kiting" weakness by stealing movement speed from enemies, allowing you to stick to targets and land your enhanced basic attacks.
Tips and tricks for Aulus new successor
Pre-Charge Stacks: Use Skill 1 while running to a fight. It builds your passive stacks for free so you enter the battle with Enhanced Basic Attacks ready. The 2-Second Rule: Avoid being stunned for the first 2 seconds of Skill 1. Once the bar fills, you get CC Immunity, allowing you to charge straight through enemy stuns. Skill 2 "Ghost" Dash: Use the Skill 2 jump to hop over walls or dodge big enemy skills (like ultimate AOEs). The CD Refund: If you don't need the dash, don't recast Skill 2. The cooldown will be much shorter, letting you spam it more for healing and attack speed. Ult for Tanking: Don't just use your Ultimate for damage; use it when you're being focused. It grants massive Damage Reduction to help you survive the initial burst

Lv 1-3: Use Skill 1 while walking. It builds your passive stacks for free so you enter every fight with max attack speed. Lv 4: Hit a minion with Skill 2 to unlock the "jump." Use it to hop over walls for ganks or escapes. Lv 8-11: Run with Skill 1 for 2 seconds. If you aren't stunned, you gain CC Immunity to charge straight through enemy traps. Lv 12+: Your range becomes massive. Stay at a distance and hit the tank; your splash damage will reach the backline and shred Max HP. Tactical: Only the last hit of your Ult gives CC immunity, but every swing reduces incoming damage by 40%. Use it early to survive burst.
