Overview

The revamped Aulus is no longer just a late-game farmer - he's now a mobile, AoE bruiser who thrives in extended fights. With added dash, control immunity, and stronger teamfight presence, he can now engage, chase, and survive much better than before.

Strengths

Aulus excels in extended fights, AoE damage, and scaling power. His revamped kit allows him to stay in fights longer while dealing continuous damage, especially when he maintains his stacks. With improved mobility and durability, he can now pressure enemies more effectively and participate in teamfights earlier compared to his old version.

Weaknesses

Despite the improvements, Aulus still depends on items and timing to reach full strength. He can struggle against heavy crowd control or highly mobile enemies that can disengage from his range. Poor positioning or engaging too early can still make him vulnerable before he ramps up.

Ferocity Duelist Build

This build focuses on sustain + continuous damage, which fits the revamped Aulus perfectly. War Axe is the core item, stacking damage and movement speed during fights - ideal for his extended combat style. Endless Battle adds true damage and sustain, while Blade of Despair gives a massive damage spike in mid to late game. Malefic Roar ensures he can still shred tanky enemies, and Queen's Wings provides damage reduction and survivability when low HP, allowing Aulus to keep fighting instead of getting bursted.

Savage Hunter Build

This jungle build focuses on durability, sustained damage, and objective control. War Axe serves as the core item, stacking damage and movement speed during fights, which fits Aulus's extended combat style. Brute Force Breastplate enhances mobility and defenses while stacking during combat, making him harder to kill. Rose Gold Meteor adds survivability through its shield, especially against burst damage. Malefic Roar ensures Aulus can still deal significant damage to tanky enemies, while Queen's Wings provides damage reduction and sustain in clutch situations. This setup allows Aulus to survive longer in fights while continuously dealing damage.

Ferocity Sustain Build

This Ferocity Sustain build is designed for sustain trading and anti-heal pressure. War Axe remains the core for consistent damage and scaling, while Brute Force Breastplate improves durability and movement during fights. Rose Gold Meteor provides protection against burst damage, allowing Aulus to stay in lane longer. Malefic Roar ensures he can deal with tanky EXP laners, while Sea Halberd is crucial for reducing enemy healing and lifesteal, giving Aulus an advantage in prolonged trades. This build makes him difficult to kill while maintaining strong damage output.

Ferocity Duelist Setup

This setup focuses on lane dominance and sustain trades. Thrill provides early physical attack to help Aulus survive and contest the lane, while Festival of Blood gives spell vamp that synergizes with his skill damage for longer trades. War Cry boosts his damage during extended fights, perfectly matching Aulus's playstyle of stacking and continuously attacking, allowing him to outlast and overpower enemies in the EXP lane.

Savage Hunter Setup

This setup is optimized for faster farming and stronger objective control. Thrill increases early damage for quicker jungle clears, while Seasoned Hunter enhances damage against jungle monsters and objectives like Turtle and Lord. War Cry again strengthens Aulus in extended fights, ensuring he remains a strong threat during skirmishes and objective contests once he scales.

Ferocity Sustain Setup

This setup maximizes Aulus's ability to sustain through fights by combining mobility, spell vamp, and healing effects. Festival of Blood synergizes with his skill-based damage after the revamp, while Brave Smite provides additional sustain during trades. This allows Aulus to stay in combat longer, which is crucial for stacking his passive and maximizing his overall damage output.

Battle Spell

Flicker remains the safest choice, giving Aulus an emergency reposition tool for both engaging and escaping. Vengeance is a strong alternative if you want to fully commit to extended fights and increase survivability. If used as Jungler/Core, Ice Retri is the best choice for Aulus, allowing him to slow enemies, secure kills, and stick to targets during fights. It also improves his dueling and chasing potential.

Sustained Duel Power (EXP)

Aulus becomes dominant in the EXP lane once he gains his first core item (War Axe) and reaches mid levels. At this stage, he can outlast most opponents in extended trades thanks to his sustain and stacking damage. He excels in 1v1 fights and side lane pressure, forcing enemies to either disengage or risk losing prolonged trades.

Mid-Game Power Spike (Jungler)

Aulus reaches his strongest point as a jungler during the mid game, when he has War Axe and at least one defensive item. At this stage, he becomes highly effective in Turtle fights, skirmishes, and objective control, where his sustained damage and durability allow him to outfight enemies over time and secure key objectives.

Best With Angela

Provides healing and shields, allowing Aulus to stay longer in fights and maximize his damage.

Watch Out For Valir

Constant knockback and slow make it hard for Aulus to stay in range and deal sustained damage.
