Perfect build choice for Zetian
his build is highly effective for Zetian because it balances cooldown reduction, burst damage, and late-game scaling. Magic Shoes provide early cooldown reduction, allowing her to spam skills more often in lane and control the wave safely. Glowing Wand adds strong poke damage and works well against enemies with higher HP, making her harassment much stronger in early and mid game. Lightning Truncheon greatly increases her burst potential, especially when combined with her skill combos in teamfights. Holy Crystal boosts her magic power significantly, making all of her abilities scale much harder into the late game. The additional magic items further improve sustained damage, vision control, and finishing power, while Blood Wings gives huge magic power together with extra survivability through bonus HP. Overall, this build makes Zetian excellent at long-range poke, teamfight burst, and strong late-game carry potential, which perfectly matches her playstyle as a control mage.
Rupture + Bargain Hunter + Impure Rage
The best emblem setup is usually Mage Emblem, focused on magic penetration, cooldown reduction, and extra burn damage for stronger poke in lane.
Battle Spell
For battle spells, I personally prefer Flicker because it gives extra safety and allows better repositioning in fights. Against heavy crowd control compositions, Purify is also a strong choice.

Her strong range allows her to safely pressure the lane while checking bushes and helping side lanes with vision. Avoid overextending because mobile assassins can punish her weak positioning before level 4.

During the mid game, Zetian becomes much stronger in skirmishes and objective fights. Her ultimate provides excellent map vision and crowd control, making it easier for the team to secure Turtle, Lord, and key picks. Stay behind the frontline, use your combo after the tank engages, and focus on controlling enemy movement in teamfights.
Late Game Burst Carry
In the late game, Zetian turns into a high-impact control mage with massive burst damage. With full items, her poke can heavily weaken enemies before fights even begin. Proper positioning is the key to success—stay protected by teammates, use ultimate for vision and initiation, and punish grouped enemies with your full combo.
Best With Atlas
Atlas is the best tank partner for Zetian because his ultimate groups multiple enemies in one place, creating the perfect setup for her full combo. Once Atlas lands a strong engage, Zetian can instantly follow with her ultimate and AoE burst, often winning the teamfight immediately. This combo is one of the strongest wombo setups in the game.
Watch Out For Nolan
Nolan is dangerous because of his fast burst combo and easy access to the backline. He can punish poor positioning and quickly reset after securing a kill, which makes him a strong answer to Zetian in solo queue and coordinated play.
