Overview

Marcel is a Support/Crowd Control hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), often played as a tanky roamer specializing in time-manipulation, disruption, and shielding allies. Known as the "Soul Photographer," he uses his camera companion, Clemar, to freeze enemies and immobilize them. Marcel thrives on coordinating with teammates to isolate targets.

Strengths

Strong Crowd Control - His Passive - Platinum Snap automatically immobilizes nearby enemies and deals true damage based on their max HP, with basic attacks reducing the cooldown per target. - Skill 1 - Framed Moment slows and then immobilizes enemies in an area, great for setup and zoning. - Ultimate - Golden Hour freezes all units and projectiles in a large area for 3 seconds, putting enemies in stasis while allowing Marcel to act freely and reset his passive cooldown for affected targets. Excellent Team Support - The passive grants shields to Marcel and a nearby ally when triggered, enhancing frontline durability. - Skill 2 - Tracking Shot provides movement speed (boosted when moving toward enemies) and a dash for repositioning or engagement; if Skill 1 is active, Clemar stays to maintain the attack area. Additionally, the stasis effect applies to both enemies and allies, so mistiming it can inadvertently protect opponents. Moreover, heroes with suppression mechanics (e.g., Kaja's "Divine Judgment") can bypass the ultimate's invulnerability and continue to affect Marcel during its duration. Lack of Self-Sustain - Unlike many other support heroes, Marcel does not have any built-in HP regeneration skills or passives. This build is designed to maximize Marcel's unique passive, Platinum Snap, which converts every 225 extra HP into Hybrid Defense and scales his basic attack and skill damage directly with both Physical and Magic Defense.

Best With Granger

Marcel is a specialized Support/Tank whose compatibility is defined by his Golden Hour (Ultimate), which places all units and projectiles in stasis. He is most compatible with Long-Range Projectile DPS and High AOE Damage heroes who can stack their attacks into his stasis zone to explode all at once when it ends. Granger Can unload all Rhapsody bullets and ultimate shots into the frozen area for massive burst damage.

Watch Out For Lesley

Lesley is a hard counter to Marcel primarily because her true damage kit completely nullifies his unique defensive mechanics.
