Marcel is a unique Support/Tank hero who controls fights using time-freezing abilities. His play style focuses on positioning, control, and team coordination.
Strengths
Marcel has one of the strongest crowd control kits with his time-freezing ultimate. He can completely stop enemies and control the flow of team fights. Provides shields and utility for teammates while disrupting enemies. Very impactful in coordinated team fights and objective control.
Weaknesses
Marcel is not very durable compared to other tank supports. He relies heavily on team coordination to be effective. Poor timing of his ultimate can ruin fights or even affect teammates. Low damage output makes him dependent on allies to finish enemies.
Sustain Tank
This Build setup helps Marcel to rotate faster and sustain himself at fights . Thunder belt and Dominance Ice adds true damage and anti heal utility and oracle increases the shield gained from his passive while Athens and immortality help him survive burst magic Damage.
Support
Support Emblem makes the shield effect from Marcel's passive more better . It also grants movement speed and cooldown reduction which is great for Rotation and Spamming abilities.
Battle Spell
Flicker can be used to reposition in danger situation and either chase or escape and also it is best to setting ultimate and surprise the enemy while your team follows ups.
Strong from Mid to late game
Roam early, protect allies, and avoid risky fights while providing vision. In mid game, rotate with your team and set up kills using your crowd control. Stick with core teammates and focus on objectives like Turtle and Lord. In late game, position carefully and use your ultimate at the perfect moment to win team fights.
Best With Granger
Marcel provides protection and setup, allowing Granger to stay safe and deal damage freely. Together, they create strong pick-offs and deadly team fight combos.
Watch Out For Lesley
Marcel passive converts all the extra hp into hybrid defense. Therefore heroes with high true dmz can melt him after and Lesley also has a huge advantage due to his range and massive true damage.
