Overview
She's a burst mage who excels in team fight with her wide AoE damage especially punishing the grouped enemies.
Strengths
Strong crowd control, her second skill provides immobilization, good for setting up kills. Secondly, good zoning ability, can poke and control space safely at a distance using the first skill. Thirdly, she has a strong late game scaling once the core items are completed.
Weaknesses
Immobile, she's an easy target for the assasins once the flicker spell is in cooldown. Secondly, positioning-dependent, once her position is off, it's an instant death or a waste of ultimate occurs. Thirdly, her ultimate is interruptible. Stun, knock ups can cancel her ultimate.
Odette's Equipments
The key equipments are flowing wand, holy crystal and divine glaive. Odette's ultimate is already powerful, however, when she's meeting an enemy with high healing capability, the glowing wand will help to counter the lifesteal or the regeneration of new HP. Holy crystal is needed to give the ultimate lash to any hero since it has the highest magic power. Divine glaive meanwhile is effective against opponents with a high magic defense.
Odette' Emblem Talents
Movement speed helps her to move a lot faster. Since she's dependent on her position to cast her skills and she's easily targeted by assasin especially during the early game, hence movement speed is important. Weapons master is great for her for additional magic power. Since her ultimate can easily be cancelled, by using this talent, it'll help to compensate the severity of her ultimate. Impure rage is good for her since she's mana-hungry. This talent will help to prevent her from recalling to the base as often as she'll be.
Battle Spell
Flicker spell. Since she doesn't have any dash skill, hence its better to use flicker spell. Alternatively, this skill provides her with extra trick by repositioning during ultimate just in case if the enemies dash or flickers during the ultimate.
Odette
She's dependent on position. Usually, let the tanks or roamers to move and give vision first, then the player can easily reposition to attack the enemies easily. Secondly, the first skill of Odette has stacks (3 stacks at most). Use it to kill the enemies especially without the presence of the ultimate. The player should also buy the winter crown if to be casted during the ultimate, this can help to prevent the ultimate from being cancelled.
Best With Tigreal
Tigreal has the implosion capability which works great with odette's ultimate since it freezes or stuns the enemies for mere seconds which causes the ultimate of odette to works really well, since the enemies will not have the ability to dash or blink or uses any skills during the stunned moment.
Watch Out For Saber
Odette is weak against assasin as she doesn't have any dash skills. Against saber, odette has to repositioned a lot so that she will not be killed by using the ultimate of saber. Besides, the ultimate can cancel odettes ultimate.
