Overview
Kagura is a high-skill burst mage assassin who excels at zoning, poking, and deleting backline targets. She relies on precise umbrella positioning and combo timing to outplay enemies. Kagura shines as a finisher and teamfight disruptor, capable of instantly eliminating enemy marksman or mage before the clash fully begins. Proper spacing and patience are key to mastering her.
Strengths
Strong early poke in lane using Skill 1. Extremely high burst damage in mid to late game. Can outplay divers with umbrella dash (Skill 2). Great zoning control in objectives (Lord/Turtle fights). Strong finisher — can delete squishy heroes instantly. Hard to catch when played properly.
Weaknesses
Very skill-dependent (mechanical ceiling is high). Weak when umbrella is misplaced. Vulnerable to heavy crowd control (Franco, Atlas, etc.). Needs good positioning — one mistake = death. Not a frontline mage; cannot initiate recklessly.

The Burst emblem with Lethal Ignition maximizes Kagura’s combo damage and finishing power. Kagura can easily trigger Lethal Ignition by landing her umbrella poke (Skill 1), reposition combo (Skill 2), and ultimate within a short time frame. This guarantees additional adaptive damage after her full combo.
Battle Spell
Flameshot is chosen to enhance Kagura’s long-range burst potential and provide additional zoning and finishing power. Since Kagura excels at poking and deleting squishy backline heroes, Flameshot allows her to secure kills from a safe distance after executing her combo. The knockback effect also gives Kagura extra protection against assassins and divers. It can be used defensively to push away enemies when her umbrella is on cooldown, or offensively to reposition targets into her ultimate pull.
Mid Game Burst Control Phase
Kagura is strongest during the mid game once she secures her core damage items. This is the phase where her burst combo becomes lethal and she can instantly eliminate enemy squishy heroes before team fights fully start.
