Overview
Known as the Onmyouji Master, Kagura is a high-difficulty burst mage from the Cadia Riverlands. She is #25 hero in Mobile Legends Bangbang (MLBB). Mastering Kagura requires a mix of pinpoint umbrella placement and lightning-fast reactions. [ HERO SKILLS ] 🌂Passive Skill (Yin Yang Gathering): Upon returning back her Seimei Umbrella, Kagura gains shield, stuns nearby enemies for 0.5 seconds and then slows then for 1 second. 🌂Skill 1 (Seimei Umbrella Open): Throws the umbrella to a location. This is your primary tool for poking and vision. 🌂Skill 2 (Rasho Umbrella Flee): * With Umbrella: Removes all CC (Purify) and dashes. *Without Umbrella: Teleports to the umbrella and stuns nearby enemies. 🌂ULTIMATE (Yin Yang Overturn): * With Umbrella: Deals AoE damage and knocks back enemies. *Without Umbrella: Creates a link to enemies. After a short delay, it pulls them into the umbrella and deals massive burst. [ HERO SKILL COMBO ] The "One-Shot" Combo: 1-3-1-2-3 Execution: Throw Umbrella (1) > Activate Ult (3) > Move Umbrella slightly to ensure the link stays (1) > Teleport to Umbrella to trigger Passive Stun (2) > Activate final ULT burst (3).
Strengths
☔Unmatched Mobility: Between her dashes and teleports, she is nearly impossible to pin down. ☔Self-Purify: Her Blue Skill 2 allows her to escape almost any crowd control (except Suppression). ☔Safety: She can check bushes with her umbrella from a distance, preventing face-checking.
Weaknesses
☔High Difficulty: If you lose track of your umbrella's location, you lose your escape and your damage. ☔Squishy: If caught without her umbrella (while it's deployed), she has no defense. ☔Energy/Mana Management: Spamming skills in the early game will leave you dry quickly.
KAGURA'S BEST BUILD ITEMS
[ ARCANE BOOTS ] : - For early-game Magic Penetration. [ LIGHTNING TRUNCHEON ] : - Her core item, the extra AoE burst scales with your Magic Power. [ GENIUS WAND ] - Essential for shredding the Magic Defense of squishy targets. [ HOLY CRYSTAL ] - Provides the massive Magic Power spike needed for late-game kills. [ WISHING LANTERN ] - Excellent in 2026 for dealing damage based on the Max HP of the enemy [ DIVINE GLAIVE ] - Buy this if the enemies start building Magic Resistance (Athena' Shield).
OTHER OPTIONAL ITEMS:
Glowing Wand: Usually built as a 3rd or 4th item (after Lightning Truncheon/Genius Wand) if you notice the enemy has high sustain or a lot of HP. Blood Wings: Typically built as a 5th or 6th item (Late Game) to replace your boots or as a final power spike to ensure you don't get shut down during a dive. 💡[ PRO TIPS ]: -If the enemy team is exceptionally tanky, build GLOWING WAND early. If you find yourself getting focused and killed instantly by assassins, prioritize BLOOD WINGS for that life-saving shield.
KAGURA MAGE EMBLEM
Use the Mage Emblem for the best balance of Penetration and Magic Power. Tier 1 - RUPTURE: Provides Adaptive Penetration. This makes your early-game poke significantly more painful against the enemy mid-laner. Tier 2 - BARGAIN HUNTER: Reduces the cost of equipment by 5%. Kagura relies on expensive items to reach her "one-shot" potential; this helps you get there faster. Tier 3 - LETHAL IGNITION: Dealing damage greater than 7% of a target's Max HP 3 times in 5 seconds burns them. Since Kagura's combo hits many times rapidly, this talent adds a massive finishing burn.
Battle Spell
[ FLICKER ] - The safest choice. It allows for "Flicker-Combos" or an emergency exit if your skills are on cooldown. ALTERNATIVE BATTLE SPELL: [ FLAMESHOT ] - Excellent for early-game kill secures and pushing back melee heroes like Gusion or Chou.
EARLY GAME
Focus on clearing waves. Use Skill 1 to poke the enemy mage. Do not jump in unless the enemy is below 40% HP.
MIDGAME
This is your prime. Rotate to the Gold Lane. Hide in bushes and wait for the enemy Marksman to overextend, then unleash your full combo.
LATE GAME
Stay behind your front line. Use your umbrella to scout bushes for your team. In teamfights, wait for the enemy to use their "hard CC" before you dive the backline.

Pairs best with "Setters" like Tigreal, Atlas, or Terizla who can group enemies for your Ultimate.
Watch Out For Franco
She is countered by "Suppression" heroes like Franco or Kaja (who ignore her Purify)
