Overview

Eudora's origins are rooted in a village where Light Elves faced prejudice despite their integration into Moniyan society. Born with unusual eyes and sharp ears, she was often bullied, leading to a withdrawn and sensitive personality. Her only solace was a silver song flower, which was cruelly destroyed by her tormentors. This act ignited a surge of pure rage, awakening her latent lightning magic and nearly leveling the surrounding homes. This traumatic event and her emotional imbalance made controlling her magic difficult. Any insult to her appearance would cause her powers to spiral, forcing her family to constantly move. Their nomadic life ended when Theresa, a tutor from the Academy of Magic, recognized Eudora's talent and brought her to the school. Under Theresa's guidance, Eudora excelled, mastering lightning magic to an extent that surpassed her mentor. Driven by a desire to become the strongest mage, she sought challenges, engaging in duels with other talented mages like Valir and Harley. Her quest to master all magic led her to the Land of Dawn, a realm of warfare and witchcraft, where she aims to solidify her title as the most powerful sorceress. Hero's Role in the Game Eudora is a Mage hero known for her burst damage and crowd control. She excels at ambushing enemies and eliminating high-priority targets with a swift combination of skills. Her primary role is to: - Mid Laner: She is typically played in the mid-lane, where she can quickly clear minion waves and gain experience and gold. - Ganker: Eudora is a potent ganker due to her ability to stun and unleash massive damage, making her effective at roaming to other lanes and securing kills. - Initiator/Pick-off: With her Ball Lightning, she can stun key enemies, allowing her team to follow up and eliminate them. - Support (in some metas): While primarily a damage dealer, her strong crowd control can also provide valuable support in team fights.

Strengths

Laning or Farming Advantages - Efficient Minion Clear: Eudora's Skill 1, Forked Lightning, is excellent for clearing minion waves, especially when combined with her Superconductor passive. This allows her to quickly push lanes and gain gold and experience. - Harassment: She can effectively poke and harass enemy laners with her Skill 1, forcing them to retreat or consume their healing items. - Bush Control: Eudora excels at ambushing enemies from bushes. Her ability to instantly stun and burst down targets makes her a constant threat in the mid-lane. Team Fight Advantages - Devastating Burst Damage: Eudora is renowned for her ability to eliminate squishy enemy heroes (ADCs, Assassins, other Mages, Supports) almost instantly with her combo. If an enemy is caught by her full combo, especially when marked by Superconductor, it's often a guaranteed kill. - Strong Crowd Control: Her Skill 2, Ball Lightning, provides a reliable stun. When a target is marked by Superconductor, this stun can bounce to nearby enemies, providing area-of-effect crowd control that can turn the tide of a team fight. - Zone Control: Her presence alone can create fear among enemies, making them wary of engaging or moving through certain areas, especially near bushes. - Objective Contestation: Her high burst damage makes her valuable for securing objectives like Lord or Turtle, as she can quickly melt down enemy heroes attempting to contest. Early/Mid/Late Game Advantages - Early Game: - Strong Poke and Harass: Eudora can effectively pressure opponents in the laning phase with Skill 1. - Early Kill Potential: Once she unlocks Skill 2 at level 2, she can perform a basic stun-and-damage combo. Upon reaching level 4 and unlocking her Ultimate, she gains immense kill potential, often capable of one-shotting many heroes if they are caught out of position. - Gank Setup: Her stun makes her an excellent hero for setting up ganks with her jungler or other teammates.

Weaknesses

- Extremely Squishy (Low Durability): - Eudora has very low HP and minimal defensive stats. She builds almost entirely magic damage items, leaving her highly vulnerable to any form of sustained damage or burst from assassins and marksmen. - She cannot sustain herself in prolonged engagements and is easily killed if caught out of position. - Lack of Mobility/Escape Skills: - This is arguably her biggest weakness. Eudora has no dash, blink, or movement speed buff skills in her kit. This makes her incredibly reliant on proper positioning and the use of Battle Spells like Flicker or Sprint for either engagement or escape. - If she misses her stun or her Flicker is on cooldown, she is an easy target for enemy ganks and dive compositions. This also makes her vulnerable to heroes that can quickly close the gap. - Vulnerable to Crowd Control (CC) and Dive: - Because of her low mobility and squishiness, heroes with strong CC (stuns, suppresses, silences) or those who can quickly dive into the backline (assassins, certain fighters) are very effective against her. If she gets locked down, she usually goes down instantly. - She also has a slight delay on her Ultimate, which experienced enemies can use to their advantage to interrupt or escape.

Burst

This build emphasizes Eudora's strengths, making her a devastating force on the battlefield. Remember that while this is a strong general build, adapting one or two items based on the enemy team composition is always a good strategy!

Eudora's Fury

This combination ensures Eudora gets the highest possible burst damage output and magic penetration, allowing her to fulfill her role as a primary damage dealer and target assassin.

Battle Spell

Eudora's greatest strength is her immense burst damage and reliable stun, but her biggest weakness is her complete lack of mobility. She has no dashes, blinks, or movement speed buffs in her kit. This makes her incredibly vulnerable.

Early Game Roaming & Pick-Offs

- Laning Precautions: - Focus on safely clearing minion waves with Skill 1 (Forked Lightning) to gain gold and experience quickly. - Conserve mana early; avoid spamming skills unnecessarily until you have mana regen items or blue buff. - Always check bushes before moving through them, as Eudora is very squishy and vulnerable to early ganks. - If the enemy mid-laner roams, ping missing and push your lane to gain a turret advantage. - Team Fight Strategies (or Early Skirmishes): - Look for opportunities to roam to side lanes (especially Gold Lane) at levels 2-4 once you have Skill 2 (Ball Lightning) and possibly your Ultimate (Thunder's Wrath). - Hide in bushes near enemy laners. Wait for an enemy to overextend or be isolated. - Execute your stun-burst combo (Skill 2 -> Skill 3 -> Skill 1) to secure quick kills and snowball your team. - Coordinate with your jungler for ambushes; your stun is excellent for setting up ganks. - Prioritize eliminating enemy marksmen or mages first.

Best With Tigreal

Tigreal is an excellent tank partner for Eudora due to his powerful crowd control. His Ultimate (Implosion) pulls enemies together, and his Skill 2 (Sacred Hammer) knocks them up. This sets up perfect opportunities for Eudora to land her full burst combo on multiple targets, turning team fights. Eudora's damage is so high that if Tigreal locks down the enemy team, she can often wipe out squishy damage dealers caught in his CC. He also provides a frontline to protect Eudora, who is very squishy.

Watch Out For Fanny

Fanny, as a highly mobile assassin, benefits greatly from Eudora's stun. If Fanny initiates and catches a target, Eudora can immediately follow up with her Ball Lightning (Skill 2) to extend the crowd control, allowing Fanny to unleash her full damage. Conversely, Eudora can set up kills for a roaming Fanny. Their combined burst is often too much for a single enemy to handle.
