Overview
Eudora is a burst mage specializing in instant pick-offs and high crowd control. After her revamp, she revolves around the Superconductor mark system, where skills enhance each other when hitting marked enemies. She is best played in the Mid Lane, focusing on fast wave clear, early rotations, and ambush plays. Eudora excels at deleting squishy heroes like marksmen and assassins with one clean combo. In teamfights, her role is backline burst + control — wait for the right moment, apply mark, then unleash full combo to secure kills quickly.
Strengths
1. Extremely high burst damage in mid to late game 2. Reliable stun for pick-offs and teamfight control 3. Strong snowball potential after first core item 4. Fast wave clear with Skill 1 5. Effective against squishy heroes 6. Simple mechanics but high impact Eudora becomes very dangerous once she gets Magic Penetration and Magic Power items. One correct combo can instantly change the outcome of a fight.
Weaknesses
1. Very squishy and easy to burst 2. No mobility skill (relies on Flicker for escape) 3. Weak if skills miss 4. Struggles against tanky heroes with high magic defense 5. Vulnerable to dive assassins Positioning is extremely important. If caught out of position, Eudora can be eliminated before casting her combo.
Burst Mage Pro Build
Magic Boots provide cooldown reduction so Eudora can rotate faster and use her combo more often. Genius Wand is a core early item because it reduces enemy magic defense with every skill hit. This greatly increases her combo damage. Glowing Wand adds burn damage based on enemy HP, making it effective against fighters and tanks. Blood Wings gives very high magic power and a shield, increasing both burst damage and survivability in late game fights. Lightning Truncheon enhances burst damage with extra magic damage that scales with total magic power, making her combo even stronger. Wishing Lantern helps deal additional damage to high HP enemies and improves overall damage consistency.
Mage Emblems
Rupture provides early Adaptive (Magic) Penetration, which increases her damage during the laning phase and early rotations. Battle Spell
Flicker is the best battle spell for Eudora because she has no mobility skill and is very vulnerable to assassins. It allows her to reposition safely, escape ganks, or surprise enemies with sudden burst initiation. You can use Flicker aggressively by performing the combo: Flicker Skill 2 Ultimate Skill 1 to instantly delete a squishy target before they can react. Defensively, Flicker helps escape dive heroes and reposition during teamfights after casting your combo. Since Eudora relies heavily on positioning, Flicker greatly increases her survivability and playmaking potential.
Mid Game Power Spike
During mid game Eudora becomes very strong after completing 2 to 3 core items. Focus on rotating with the roamer and jungler to secure kills on enemy marksman and mage. Always hide in bushes and wait for the right timing before using full combo. Clear mid lane quickly then move to side lanes to create pressure. Do not start fights first. Let the tank engage then use skill 2 to stun priority targets and follow with full combo to secure instant elimination. Avoid overextending without vision. Position behind your frontline during team fights and target squishy heroes. If ultimate is on cooldown play safe and farm until it is ready again.
Best With Tigreal
Eudora and Tigreal are a perfect combination because Tigreal provides strong crowd control and reliable engage. His ultimate can group multiple enemies in one place which allows Eudora to land her full combo easily. When Tigreal sets up with Flicker and ultimate Eudora can immediately follow with stun and burst damage to eliminate priority targets. This combo is very strong in team fights and objective contests. Tigreal also protects Eudora in the backline which allows her to position safely and deal maximum damage.
Watch Out For Saber
This matchup depends on who reacts first. If Eudora sees Saber coming she can stun and burst him before he uses his ultimate. Saber is very squishy and cannot survive her full combo. However if Saber catches Eudora without vision or if her stun is on cooldown he can eliminate her quickly with his ultimate. Proper positioning and staying behind the tank are key to winning this matchup.
