Overview
Eudora is an easy hero to use, especially after her revamp. Her skills are easy to understand and only require almost zero skill ceiling. But beware that Eudora is also a weak hero in the early game, as she relies on her ultimate to dish out damage.
Strengths
Eudora's landing capabilities in the early game is respectable, only needing her first skill which by the way covers a wide cone range, it can last hit all the minions or if not last hit, can deal good damage that put the minion's health in half. Eudora is only good once she gets her ultimate and her first core items. You should only participate in team fights from early-mid game periods, as you only have your first to second core item and your ultimate. This hero can already one shot most squishies in the mid game periods.
Weaknesses
Eudora also has one weakness when it comes to laning, she only relies on her first skill to clear minion waves, you can also use her second and ultimate, but this is not recommended because you would need her second and ultimate skills to secure kills. Even with Eudora's exceptional one shot capabilities, she is not without a weakness, she has no escape skills, and she only relies on items that grant protection and flicker for escape. So position yourself and do not chase kills.
One shot equipment (Only for squishies)
This build is Eudora's top build for bursting down squishy heroes while also dealing considerable damage to tanks and tanky fighters. The magic boots not only give 10% cooldown reduction but also grants 150 hp and +40 movement speed that allows Eudora to outmanoeuvre slow opponents. Lightning truncheon allows Eudora to deal echoed damage across opponents close to each other, while also giving her 10% CD reduction , +75 magic power and a whopping +400 Mana that allows her to cast her skills without exhausting all her Mana pool. Wishing lantern is for bursting down opponents with higher hp than EudoraEudora while also granting +75 magic power, 10% CD reduction and another +400 mana that allows her to spam he skills while maintaining her Mana. Genius wand is for reducing magic defense, which is already excellent for bursting down semi-tanky heroes while giving her +10 magic penetration, +5% movement speed, and +75 magic power. Glowing wand is for the heroes that rely on sustain to keep themselves in the battle, this equipment grants +75 magic power, +400 max hp for survival, and another +5% movement speed. And lastly divine glaive is for bursting down almost all non tanky heroes, as this item grants +40% magic penetration and +60 magic power that bursts down squishy, and semi-tanky heroes.
Burst mage emblem for Eudora (Especially for squishies)
First of all, Eudora's best emblem is the custom emblem that has agility, reduced item cost, and lethal ignition for securing kills. For agility, Eudora gains even more agility when paired with her enchanced first skill, which allows you to outrun your opponents and also outmanoeuvre them. Bargain hunter is for faster purchasing of equipments, as it gives you 5% discount for purchasing core items. And lastly for the third emblem talent, impure rage can also be a viable option if you want better Mana management, but lethal ignition is better if you want to secure kills faster.
Battle Spell
This is the only spell that is viable for Eudora, as it grants her an escape mechanism. Other spells like aegis, sprint, and purify is decent but flicker is the only spell that helps her escape or chase opponents. But beware that after using flicker to chase and finish off opponents you are already in the most vulnerable state, as Eudora you also need to rely on your team to protect you, make sure to position yourself near fighters and tanks to further increase your survivability. You also do not need execute since eudora's skills can already help you secure kills. And other spells like revitalize, inspire, petrify, retribution, flameshot, vengeance, and arrival does not need explainations why it is not viable for Eudora.
Slow and steady wins
Only use Eudora's first skill to clear minion waves in the early-Mid periods of the game. Do not use her second and ultimate to clear waves if you need them for the team fight or when contesting for the turtle. But unless if the whole enemy team is down and you need to clear waves quickly, then only you can use the ultimate to clear waves quickly. You can also use her second but it is not really advised because it's only single target, and even her enhanced skill 2 does not deal enough damage to quickly clear minion waves. As for the team fight strategies, always stay close to the tank or the fighters. Do not engage fights with Eudora, only rely on the tanks to initiate and allow you to finish off opponents. If there is no nearby fighter to protect you, always stay near the mm or atleast behind near the tank while they initiate. But if there are heroes that sneak up behind you, you can only pray for the fighter to show up or stun the opponent first and then securing the kill, but using all your skills on the sneaky opponent only makes it worse, as your ultimate is on cooldown you cannot secure kills for your team.
Best With Tigreal
Tigreal's ultimate allows Eudora to land all her skills and allows all of the enemy team to be hit by your ultimate, which secures atleast 3-4 kills if most of the enemy team is squishy. Only the tank or tanky fighter surviving.
Watch Out For Benedetta
As a benedetta user myself, I find it easy to kill a Eudora as long as I time my 2nd skill, Benedetta's second skill is deadly for Eudora as it negates the damage and stun and revert it back to Eudora, effectively stunning stunning Eudora for 1.5 seconds and eliminate Eudora before she can even cast all the skills on Benedetta. Eudora in here is at a huge disadvantage, and a huge advantage for benedetta.
