Overview
This hero can be the most annoying hero and snowball games easily, or he will just be like layla and hard countered making you think "is he even that good". well yes he is, in the right hands
Strengths
Aamon's strength is in his invisibility, and his distant poke. understanding what build to build (poke, shred, chase, burst, 1v1, cd) will seriously affect your games.
Weaknesses
Aamon's weakness is not tanks, its vision. Heros with constant aoe effects like Zhuxin, Hylos, Cyclops, Kaja and other heros that will lock him down are his weaknesses, however you can workaround these.
Default
Extremely high burst damage. NOTE: -Do not complete windtalker right away, buy the sub item and complete your second item before completing the windtalker. -Second item can be holy or sky, if u manage to get a kill or two get sky, if not, go for holy. -Replace the boots with rapid boots and a different retri in the late game. -Last two items are situational
1v1
This is a very confrontational build. Use this build when you face enemies that like to 1v1 a lot. -Last two items are situational
Hunting Hawk
Most fun build, you can aura farm with this build and be extremely annoying. Max movement speed to reposition from the most weird angles and surprise enemies. sometimes you run faster than their sprint lol
Tank Killer
Use this build to kill tanks and shred from afar. -Last two items are situational
Core build
These are aamon's core items, that's all you need. if you manage to get this build (one of the two, either sky or holy) by midgame ur good. -Last two items are always situational
Default
This is the default emblem set, its good as it gives you good damage, mvt speed, killing spree. Killing spree is really good since it gives you that surprise last hp regen during low hp fights. However aamon's emblem set changes constantly depending on the draft.
Penetration
Use this emblem set when the enemy has heavy tanks (Fredrinn, Baxia) on the enemy team.
Flying Hawk
Use this emblem set when you need to control the map (split push a lot) and when the enemy has high mobility heros (joy, irithel, matilda, selena, baxia)
Fast Farm
This emblem set is good against fast junglers (yss, joy) so that you can keep up with their farming speed and that you dont fall off in the mid game by being behind in levels and farm. its a good mix of movement speed and farming.
Fast Farmer
This is the build for farming the fastest. Not sure when you will need this because i personally prefer *********** over farming.
Battle Spell
Use retribution on aamon. I suggest going for Flame Retri in early game to win those hyper 1v1's or early ganks easily as flame retri shreds enemy's defence stats. but for lategame you must switch to one of the other retris
Early game
In the early game maximize aamon's passive, do not go trading basic attacks. Use your skills and regen for the full duration while stacking your passive completely. Then do 1-2 basic attacks and camouflage immediately with a skill. use 1 skill at a time and never waste 2 skills at once. Use basic attacks only when your passive is full.
Mid game
Get as many kills as possible, ks is okay if you are using sky piercer as you need the stacks to scale into the late game. Position properly and control the map with wave pressure and your absense. Go from the angles they least expect and appear when they are low hp
Late game
Vision is your enemy. Always have your frontliners check bushes, or use your second skill to check bushes. Read enemy positions constantly. Prepare for item swaps, and replace sky piercer with divine glaive if your stacks are below 20
