Overview

Alice is a Tank/Mage that deals continuous damage and heals herself infinitely if near heroes. This guide focuses on her role as an Exp Lane hero, which is to be the frontline of your team.

Strengths

-Alice's passive is basically always on if you are near enemy heroes, which deals continuous damage and healing for herself -She is hard to take down when using a defensive build -Scales well to the late game

Weaknesses

-She requires some practice; Alice is not a burst hero and her continuous damage, while painful over the long run, requires positioning and timing. -While she has an amazing Ultimate, it also requires practice. -She is slightly dependent on getting an item or two to maximize her skills and to make her a tanky frontline

Exp Lane Build

As an easy guide reference, this will be the standard build. Cursed Helmet and Oracle will be your core items, while the rest you can replace to adapt to your opponents.

Defensive Tank

Choose the Tank emblem for to make her defensive. Vitality, so she can hit a little harder and she can heal a little bit more since some of her spells scale with HP Tenacity, to make it harder to take her down when she has low health Brave Smite, for that extra heal when hitting enemy heroes. Brave smite also activates every time Alice's passive hits an enemy hero; no need to use your active spells to try an activate if ever.

Battle Spell

For this guide, Revitalize is a great spell and synergizes with her kit. Activate during teamfights (when life is at half) or when you need that extra heal to survive in lane.

Level 1 - 5 (Early Game, First turtle)

Dominate your lane by making sure to activate your passive early so you can sustain and pressure your lane. Don't overextend or be too agressive since you want to get to Level 4 and help your jungler for Turtle fight. Once level 4 and you are contesting for the turtle, your job is to zone out enemy heroes. Use your Ult before the turtle is in retribution range to immobilize and pressure enemy jungler.

Leve 6 - 10 (Mid game, Slow push)

During the mid game, if you are not sure what to do, just keep pushing your lane (if turtle is up, and you can reach it, help during turtle fight.) Else, help your team in other lanes, after clearing your lane. Your goal is for your team to take down turrets to control majority of the map. By this stage, you are already quite tanky.

Level 11 - 15 (Late game, Teamfighting and pressure)

By this stage, you are extremely hard to take down. You will now act as the primary or secondary tank of your team. Your goal is for your team to push or kill enemy heroes safely so you need to give vision or initiate. If you are not yet item locked, don't forget to farm and push still.

Best With Ixia

80% co-op win rate

Once Alice sets up and hits her ult, Ixia could use her ult to deal massive AoE damage to opponents.

Watch Out For Diggie

20% counter win rate

Diggie's Ultimate is a counter to almost all CC abilities, which makes it difficult for Alice to setup. Diggie's bombs is also extremely potent and scales in damage for each time it hits an enemy, forcing you to adapt another item build, especially if you are the target in the early game.
