Ling has 2 Build options: with a scythe and without. The scythe helps in form and killing targets without movement (or with weak 1v1 potential). If there are no such targets, then pure crits

In the early stages (less than 3 items), just finish off enemies, stand on the wall more often, and don't waste your ultimate. Farm minions more often after 5 minutes (exp lane/mid lane), and you can skip the turtle (if you don't have an advantage).
