Overview
Yu Zhong is probably the best exp lane hero right now, he has got a balanced amount of CC , sustain, and damage. Moreover his ultimate, is crucial in teamfights. Don't play selfish on Yz , afterall exp is a second tank. Don't be afraid to dive in to make sets for your team.
Strengths
EARLY TO MID GAME : Yz has a pretty decent lane clear, you just have to be careful of enemy ganks till level 4. After that you can start playing aggressive. Try to zone their carries during lord and turtle.Marking their jungle during objectives will help your team secure them easily . LATE GAME : Yz in late is easy to burst and kill, don't get isolated from your team, play like a tank, zone enemy team during objectives but don't commit alone. Don't be shy to use your ultimate just to zone enemies away. For example, if your team is trying to force a turret , you can ult and zone them preventing the enemies from defending.
Weaknesses
Keep an eye on the map : during the early game, don't overextend if their mid is missing. If you get ganked early, you won't get lvl 4 before turtle, resulting in your team at a huge disadvantage. Know your limits : Know which hero counters you and build accordingly. Adjust your play style according to the enemy heroes

Burst items in early game , when you're snowblalling.
Survivability
Defence items with war axe to survive longer.
Fighter Emblem
Use quantum charge for that extra movement speed which will help you in providing more sets in teamfights.
Battle Spell
Petrify is the most viable option on yz, as when it is combined with his S3 , it has huge crowd control effects which can turn the tide of team fights in your favour.
Level 3 to mid game.
Play safe till you're level 4, try to gank turtle, help team snowball.
